I’m a little late to the party but I’m happy to have found you. I love both of these cards. I recently went a little crazy and bought all of the 6x6 plaid paper pads because I think they’re great but so far the only idea I’d come up with was making favors for a golf outing - influenced by my dad’s Bermuda shorts. Not a sport I usually participate in but I do love your “quilts”. Thank you SO MUCH for these very sweet cards. They’ll probably work up a bit easier than my queen-size bed quilt did. (I still like it but yikes! What a project!). Thank you for sharing your talents seven years ago. I can’t imagine how much more skilled you are by now. Thank again, elizabeth (04/06/22)
This is fabulous! My mother in law is a quilter, so I know she will love getting a Mother's Day card in this style! Thanks so much for the inspiration!
ps... wow... that was way harder than I thought! trying to get all my "seams" straight about drove me nuts! But I think my mil will LOVE it! She will chuckle when I tell her how hard the "seams" were. :)
Just started quilting and have been paper crafting for years. Now I can combine both my new and old loves. Can’t believe I just discovered this video! Love this idea.
This is such a cool idea! I've seen dies specifically for creating quilting patterns, but never thought of using a regular shape die for this. That opens up a whole world of possibilities! Thanks so much. :)
LOVE this card... will definately make it for my mum for Mother's day. And just realized that the mom die can be used for my mum as I can cut the last 'm' to look like an 'r' and it says "mor", which is "mom" in Danish! YAY"....
Hi, thanks for asking! Chari used our Large Stitched Square Stackables and Small Stitched Square Stackables to make this quilted look card. For convenience we include a supply list below the video description with all the supplies she used in the video. Here are links to the square die sets: www.lawnfawn.com/products/large-stitched-square-stackables www.lawnfawn.com/products/small-stitched-square-stackables The sizes of the squares are included in the product description. My sister says they all look so nice but she hates to do all that work just to have them thrown away by the receiver. I told her they can be used in scrapbooking.
