I love that they really show how she takes off her makeup and work on her skin. They show that she has breakout just like anyone else. Some night time routine videos that feature models and stars are not realistic. This one is definetely real and i love it. Catriona wins my heart! 💕
@@abivijay6152 lol I used to sleep with my makeup on (terrible mistake, I know) and I've NEVER once have broken out from sleeping with my makeup, it just depends on the person. I always take my makeup off at the end of the day now but that was just to let you know that everyone is different and what you said was wrong haha

Some people say "Oh Ms Cat didn't use toner" or "Don't use spot treatment after moisturizer".
But no matter what she has the most gorgeous skin than anyone in the comment section. Because there is really no perfect skincare that fits to everyone. That is her way and if it works on her, it is up to her, anyway it shows.
My point is, the people who knows a lot of skin care and always try to make everybody wrong has actually no good skin. Besides, don't drown yourself much on product. Focus more on the overall health.

agreed, start and work from within. Vitamin E capsules is a great investment, and also try to meditate/pray/rest a lot, bc stress makes the skin age/look haggard so much quicker. Like what Cat said, also hydrate regularly with water, juice
Mark Barayoga, I disagree with a few points that you made. She does have good skin but that doesn’t mean she’s making the most of the products she’s using or it doesn’t even mean that the products she’s using are working. Most people have good skin because of genetics. There might not be a perfect skincare that suit everyone but there is a recommended order on how they’re used to maximize their efficacy. Also, gave you ever thought that the reason someone with bad skin know so much about skincare is because they’ve struggled and worked hard to make it better? They’ve probably done some research and tried a million things and they’re sharing it to help people struggling too. Just because they’re trying to educate people does not mean they’re putting Catriona down. They may just want to share things that they’ve learned along the way.
From watching skincare videos, especially from Koreans, I agree with the people who said those. It’s not that we’re putting Catriona down, it’s more on teaching her a better way to maximize the effects of the products. It should be from the lightest consistency to the thickest consistency. If it’ll be the other way around, those lighter in consistency, like the oil, will not sink into the skin since the cream is already covering the pores. We’re just helping those who are new to skincare, and it still depends on the person if he/she will follow what we think is best.
Your journey is truly remarkable and inspiring. The Universe definitely needs more queens like you. Mabuhay ka Catriona. The best Ms U this world has ever given us. Congratulations!!

I love that everyone is an expert esthetician, stylist, chemist when commenting on vlogs of models/actresses discussing their beauty routines. Yes they do polietely ask for feedback but honestly products work differently on all of us for a variety of reasons and skin issues & hair issues can be caused by SO MANY reasons beyond what product you use. These ladies have the best dermatologists, estheticians, stylists in the world. So b/c u break out from using 1 product doesn't mean that is the reason she does. So it is ok to say "that blah blah makes me break out" but maybe not so much a lecture on how SHE shouldn't use it b/c you had an issue w/ it. There are a half dozen people who are educated & paid to advise her.

Cat is the epitome of imperfect but beautiful. Yung tunay na Pilipinang nagkakaproblema sa mukha. Pero confident parin. I like the way she let people know that not all beauty queen is perfect yung makinis, maputi, maganda ang katawan and all of that "perfect" not that I am saying she's not perfect anyway because she/we are perfect no matter kung may peklat man tau/ marks sa katawan, if we should just embrace the imperfection we are already perfect. I also use pure jojoba oil and a few drops of lavender and tea tree oil from Human Nature. Best products I’ve used on my skin I don’t get breakouts and if I do it goes away in 1 or 2 days ❤️

I myself I try to avoid washing my face as much as I can with tapwater, I live in Paris their tap water here contains high level of minerals which is harsh for your skin so instead I use the Avène Eau Thermale Spray Brumisateur 300ml and micellar water but I try to change up a bit between Bioderma Créaline H2O Solution Micellaire and Alba Face Galenic, the last one is made with panhenol and is vegan certified. I use the avocado Kiehl's eyecream too and Dr pawpaw baume original in green. After seeing you I might try the Lush product. Thank you!
I’m also a fan of Avene and Micellar water. Also, after I wash my face with my cleanser, I spray Avene thermal spray. It helps in absorbing the products you will put on next like your moisturizers/serum :)

Darling Eli my house has its own well so my tap water also contained a lot of carbonates as it didn’t go through the softening process that normal mains water normally do but we’ve since installed a water softening system which helped quite a bit in removing the carbonates. If the water bothers you so much maybe you could look in getting one installed too 😊

I recommend the heimish cleansing balm instead of coconut oil because its immediately removes make up na its easy to wash off. Im currently using both kasi and i tend to use the heimish balm more especially if im using waterproof and transfer proof lipstick and mascara.

Use grapeseed oil instead in removing make up. It’s good for acne and oily skin. It doesn’t clog pores unlike coconut oil :)

Hi Catriona! The Lush Angels on Bare Skin is quite harsh to use everyday as a cleanser. Maybe use it 2-3x a week instead and treat it as an exfoliator? I was obsessed with it at first because it smells really good and you feel so fresh after washing your face but after weeks of using it, my face had redness and I had some breakouts on my chin. I notice in the video after you washed your face, we had quite similar reaction. I suggest you use a mild cleanser for everyday use :) I personally use Avene. If you want to try Asian products Cosrx is also good :)

samantha franz Me too! It was so bad that aside from the usual breakouts that I get, I also had fungal acne on my entire face. I know it’s the reason because it’s the only new product I’m using on my face. So, basically that’s why I will never ever use fresh cleansers again. LOL
