In Hindu mythology, Lakshmi-the Goddess of Wealth and Prosperity-has a particular position. Those who revere her receive her bountiful favors and abundant prosperity. The video does a fantastic job of delving into the meaning and importance of her. 🌟💰
Jai Lakshmi Devi!
She is considered as the supreme goddess because she is Maya herself and it's said she is the one who created this world in her Mahalakshmi form which is also mentiomed in Devi Bhagwat or purans

As a Christian I learned that wealth was the root of many kinds of evil. But poverty, deep poverty is not of God either. If you've ever experienced it you'll know what I mean.
Lakshmi is not the Goddess of Greed. She is the Goddess of Prosperity. She wants us to have enough to meet our needs and to help others
@@WildMen4444 I never claimed Lakshmi represented greed, don't make me look bad in front of her! (Styles hair and fixes collar.) 🤣
@@patrickpleasant151 You'll have to understand that I am accustomed to Christians pointing to the Gods and saying, "Look! Clearly these things are evil because they promote X, Y, Z..."
@@WildMen4444I see artistic value in the Hindu Pantheon, I may not worship their gods but the culture surly is fascinating.
@stanlee5035 Jesus fasted in the desert not the Himalayas but it is interesting that 40 days seems to be a reoccurring theme.
I'm sorry but most of all the Hindu goddess stories all sound the same. Benevolent virtuous and beautiful.....and multiple arms!
