Thank you to @dreadsilver9638 and @tarakinwu124 for fact-checkin me on my Steve Blum factoid, which was poorly sourced and turned out to be false I'm grateful to have viewers that are willing to point out when I mess up, it keeps me sharp. @@Bucket_Buffoon The first thing I read was Irate Irregular, and I thought it was gonna be about Iguazu. Then I read the rest of the title, lol. Iguazu doesn't start off as an irregular, but he does become one.
Now that you think about it, there was always a dude in Armored Core that is a salty and arrogant asshole. In first gen it was Stinger obviously, in third gen it was Evangel, in fourth it was Otsdarva and in sixth it is Iguana. However, I don't remember this archetype being in second or fifth gens
I absolutely love vixen's design and im glad it came back in the form of HAL 826 (mixed in with a little white glint) Speaking of which, i love the idea that Fromsoft brings back designs into new generations and put a new spin on them. Its just fun going back and seeing that X AC from AC6 looks like its based on this Y AC from a prior entry in the franchise. Btw great video nonetheless!
@@dreadsilver9638 Yeah that was an error on my part that I take full responsibility for. I can't for the life of me find the original source where I first found that factoid either so this is going down as my biggest L so far

@@Bucket_Buffoonhi dude! great video but it seems the description doesn’t have the PC share codes for the emblem and the AC build. maybe it was deleted during upload? thanks.

@@mrfancypants3423 Nineball is currently in the process of being re-written actually. Once the current backlog is done Nineball should be the 999 sub special. Gotta grab some Megazone footage in addition to a proper mic so my wife can lend her voice to the project.
Seraph and Nineball are two seperate mecha. The Legs and Head parts, along with his weaponry and actual BUILD (Colors, Assembly, etc) were all done by Satoh. Kawamori did the sketchwork for the core and arms, but the build still fell to Satoh. There's enough difference in lineage between Nineball and the Seraph to warrant them being split into their own videos tbh, as Seraph is VERY Kawamori in its shape, and has roots in Macross. Meanwhile the standard Nineball shares more lineage with Megazone (Transforming red car mecha anime)
I respect my audience's intelligence enough (since a lot of them are old guard Ravens) to trust that they will utilize the pause feature included in UA-cam's media player during construction if they're curious about the parts.

looking at vixen you can really tell they used its design as a basis for the aaliyah such a great design.
I almost threw Aaliyah in but recording the PS3 titles is a pain rip
Man they say that ac2 demo you can use vixen
The og Iguana
Oh my god I didn't even think about that.
He even syncs up with a super computer just to spite you like Stinger.

Yess! Stinger! My favourite salty guy who fuses with a robot!
His sodium is his greatest strength
I literally built Stinger last night. Ironic I see someone else too. But mine looks completely different.
Be sure to share the sharecode and parts of your build!
Not gonna lie when I first saw his ac on the wiki I totally thought he was gonna be some twink. Then I played PP and boom old man jumpscare

There is something odd i noticed, you say he is voiced by steve blum but his voice actor for armored core nexus is credited as roger jackson

note, also this might be extra late, Stinger is a reverse Joint, so it might fit more that the Mind Beta legs be used

Ah you got to love Stinger. FYI you can now build the Vixen in AC6 using the Armored Core Armoury Mod 1.58
Indeed! Or just straight up get the parts thanks to KRCD's Nexus port.
That logo, holy Freud if it's tough to make
Tough but fun. Basic shapes are ur friend amigo
For me, VE-46A arms, laser pistol and laser lance are the most accurate for Stinger. But its just my opinion 😁

AM2R is quite literally peak. You acknowledging it proves you have good taste 👌
I wonder if the 03Aaliyah from AC4 & AC4A is a nod to the Vixen/Venom design.
Stinger sounds salty, but ain't salty as Iguazu!
Is Nexus Stinger really voiced by Steve Blum? I couldn’t find that anywhere on the AC Wiki or IMDb.
