the funny thing about the whole “directors fighting over who’s movies hat kid should star in” is the fact that the conductor solely recruited hat kid for his movies because he saw dj grooves do it

I love how they're fighting ans arguing while hat kid was probably watching with popcorn in the back before grabbing her time piece 😭 also I love how the conductors singer rolls their R's it seems like something he would do 😭 I love their dynamic a lot (also in my head Dj Grooves is trying to be louder than the conductor so he can speak his piece idk why 😭)

Interesting take on this song... (In a positive way)
The vision is there and the impressions are pretty good (DJ Grooves especially sounds phenomenal). I think the lyrics, while in character for both, probably could flow a bit better. There are times where certain lines come out a bit clumsily, which leaves these rough patches that are hard to ignore.
There might also be an issue in the audio mixing; the lyrics are a lot louder than the music, and the Conductor's volume specifically seems a little inconsistent, being either deafeningly loud or almost completely inaudible when singing with Grooves.
I want to make it clear, though, that I am not a music producer, nor am I a lyricist. This is factually a lot better than anything I could put out on my own, and the effort shows. I give this 3/5 stars for being one of my favorite tracks from the game and doing both characters justice.
Thank you for your very helpful feedback! Honestly this is definitely one of the videos I'm less proud of purely because of the issues you mentioned. If I could, I would remaster this one again

Though, I should warn: A good chunk of what I'm going to upload next for this package/musical has been written a while ago so don't be upset if it seems I didn't - It's just that I write a lot of things months before actual production
PS: What are your thoughts on You Are All Bad Guys though?
@@AlexPastGrey I think I personally prefer YCHE, but I did like You Are All Bad Guys. The Moustache Girl impression was pretty good, and the lyrics were well written. The delivery for certain lines could maybe have been improved, though; it felt like the singer was trying to stick really hard to stick to the notes (which, credit where it's due, they matched the notes very well), but some spots ended up sounding a bit detached, which isn't what I'd expect from MG's very explosive outrage over the course of the fight.
Of course, I do have a level of respect for the few people who have actually covered that track; five minutes of almost constant singing is never easy for a single person.
@@Hyndsyte2020 Ah, well, I'm actually working on a full revamp of it that should be out in about a month or so? I'm very happy you enjoy the current release and I hope you like the remake as well, with the new actors
