Translated lyrics are:
(Chorus)
An enameled bedpan
A window, nightstand, and bed
To live is hard and uncomfortable
But it's cozy to die
An enameled bedpan
A window, nightstand, and bed
To live is hard and uncomfortable
But it's cozy to die
[Verse]
And quietly the faucet drips
And life, disheveled like a whore
Comes out like from a fog
And sees the nightstand, the bed
And I try to lift myself a bit
I want to look into her eyes
To look into her eyes and burst into tears
And to never die, to never die
To never die
To never die
To never die
(Repeat chorus)
The lyrics are based off the poem Enameled Bedpan by Russian poet Boris Ryzhy. He struggled with alcoholism and bipolar disorder for much of his life, and committed suicide in 2001, at age 26.

The lyrics are by a Russian poet that wanted to kill himself but didn't die, and while he was in the hospital bed, he didn't want to die anymore, he wanted her and all that, hence the window table bed thing means the hospital room
than he suicided his self in 2001 on 27 years he died his name is Boris Ryzhy ...
interesting. While I don't understand russian, I still definetly notice that what you said is true. you can hear how it just starts of depressing, sad, not really anything going on, but then there's a short moment of silence and after that there's a whole lot more tension in the music, wich is all comparable to what the lyrics of the song apparently are: depression, sadness, suicde attempt, waking up in the hospital bed and realising it was all a mistake, he doesn't want to die, etc.

Música braba! Cê tá doido bicho!!! By 2024, Brazil! 🔥
For every person here who grew up in post-soviet countries( including myself) this song simply hits different. This song in particular reminds me so much of my childhood, and I hope it does so for so many others. This is the sound of those old, rotting and crumbling soviet apartments. This song encapsulates that time when the future of our parents were guaranteed with positivity and glee, equality and happiness...but simply never came to be. Look at what happened, look how depressingly everything fell apart - and then we came in, into this crumbling burnt up world without dreams. This song perfectly represents that pessimism, that impossible hope that was promised, that will only rot away. The way he screams “dying is more comfortable!”, the way the sounds cry out, thats how we all cried. Crying that our most cherished childhood years were spent in misery, hopelessness and depression. That these things, of all things, the crumbling apartments, the abject poverty and the cruel greed that set in, ended up as nostalgia to us.
Hey i hear you I’m listening I’m so sorry that you and so many others who grew up in Soviet countries feel like this just now that your loved and you don’t deserve to be treated in anyway other than respect 🖤

I got into a real bad car accident yesterday with this song playing as I was hit. I rolled about three times and spent some time in the air. I always related to the atmosphere of this song. Right as I started rolling, the part where he repeats “never die” was playing… the whole experience was surreal and it’s still hard to process. I’m so lucky I’m alive and minimally injured. I have a new appreciation for life, just as the subject in this song. something told me to change the song to this one about 60 second prior to getting hit. it is honestly just crazy to have a relatable experience to the song in such a strange coincidental way. Everyone was shocked when I unbuckled myself and walked out of my absolutely destroyed car with only cuts and bruises. Love you molchat doma

Tbh, i understand why people are annoyed others are finding this to be a bop & aesthetic cause of its lyrics, but then I would like to direct your attention to Pumped up Kicks. Its literally about a school shooting, yet people love it & dance to it all the time. This is a normal thing with dark music, we ignore the lyrics if it has a cool beat.
that doesn't make it right, though. you directed our attention to pumped up kicks which is inevitably a problem and not something you should dance to, but then dismissed the whole issue with dancing to dark songs like its all okay.
@@tripricot I'll rephrase. People (Especially GenZ) have been exposed to mature themes like school shootings, suicide, terrorism, mental illness, and much more, for most of their lives. we're pretty much numb to it. not to mention we just like to have fun. If we hear a song that we can dance to, we're gonna dance. Whether its morally ok or not is rendered null and void, because if its making people dance and have fun, I'd say its a pretty good song. if its making people consider the lyrics & understand how bad suicide is, then its also a good song. Honestly, at the end of the day, music & all other art forms are meant to make you feel something. feeling something different from what the musician originally intended is perfectly alright, provided that you still have a positive outcome from it, whether that be dancing & having fun, or accepting how terrible suicide is & never trying it. Not to mention, both the examples I provided have very upbeat rythms, making them ideal for dancing.

I once asked my Serbian friend what he'd like to eat at a restaurant.
*"I crave death."*
hahaha, either thats a great mis-communication or your firend use to dine at hell
He just wanted some sarma
Nothing puts a smile on my face like the thought of suicide.

Westerners: Wow, That's cool, hi from FB and TikTok
Eastern Europeans: ah, It's just a description of my life..

Not true, people in Eastern Europe have more freedom than the westerners but Hollywood tells them the opposite.

The rhythm of the song: go ahead, dance.
The lyrics: if you do, you're worse than Hitler.
I mean. Kids by MGMT is a bop, but it's about the fact that we've left a shitty world for the next generation and obviously pumped up kicks is about a school shooting, so there's a lot of great songs with depressing lyrics.
Jjaajaja

Tiaara Diamond it’s just that the song has very dark lyrics

I love how we can all agree regardless of language this is a good song
Learning the meaning behind the lyrics opened my eyes. This comment section did too.

Sorry I don't speak Russian, I'm so sorry for your loss though. Stay strong.
