I live in Foz do Iguaçu, Brazil. I was "traveling" on youtube and I came across your video, because I was watching an article where the new Meyers electric manx was being presented. And I saw your video call, and I clicked to see it, and what a beautiful "collection" of dune buggs, and at 2:15 I came across this little white wonder where an engine was swapped for a Subaru turbo. Here in Brazil, mainly in the northeast region (where it is summer all year round) there are several fiber body factories, but none like these older ones. Here in Brazil, a replica of the Meyers Manx called "bugre" was made which in the dialect spoken in southern Brazil means "savage" or "native", as that is what the "gauchos" are called. In my opinion this is the most beautiful bodywork for dune buggs, along with another one made here called "bug Kadron". Thanks for the images.
My buggy can be seen at 0:48 front and 2:37 in the back. I run a 2.5 Subaru with 5 speed Subaru transaxle. The white turbo buggy has about $70,000 us dollars in it.
I try and go there every year, great show! I am in a couple of the video frames, on my mobility scooter. I have been a VW / Dune buggy follower for years. Built 3 back in the day, wish I could find the photos of them.
@@photogr4u I occasionally look at cameras so I can do a better job on my regular UA-cam stuff. I have 1 channel with mostly car building and 1 for wild ducks that I breed. I would also like to do hunting videos. So I haven't figured out what I really want and can afford.
@@kustombuilds538 Another camera to look at would be the Sony RX10 lV 20.1Mp, 24 to 600mm and 23.8 fps. I have this and love it, A little pricey but one heck of a camera. I use this for motor sports and wildlife a lot and keep it in my car most of the time. A lot easier than my DSLR and big lens to carry around.
I like all buggies, but I am partial to my Ocelot pickup. It looks way different, and I use the bed all the time because I drive it daily in the good weather, also they only made 12 bodies so you won't see them all over. I just put it away for winter last week because they salted the roads. Mine is the blue pickup in the video.
That was great thanks! Nice work. I just got a buggy a 65 pre runner and now I can see so many ideas. 👍

I got there a bit late it was the first time in years. I would like to get a better camera for next year and maybe talk to a few buggy owners.
@@kustombuilds538 You should look into the DJI Osmo Pocket 2 and all of its accessories that are available...

Bug heaven
Do you remember how much the tickets were or was It free entrance.
Me and the kid took the buggy and I think it was $25 but I'm not sure. It was a bit high but everything is these days.
Not 1 Baja bug. Let's face it, after you've a couple a dozen Manx buggies, u've seen'em all.

the opening was out of focus horribly and unwatchable.. fyi
My phone went out of focus for a few seconds for some reason and I didn't know it until I got home. I'm planning for a better one next summer.
