A friend sent me one of your sermons one day. We talk about you and how much I relate to you. I listen to you everyday now . When started listening to you on my own I only had five or ten minutes. I now find myself scheduling enough time to listen from beginning to end every morning. You’ve made a difference in my life.
Here it is a year later and this sermon is at the top of my feed. Red Rocks Church has been hitting the feelings everytime I open UA-cam. I believe it's by divine purpose to help me through this troubling time that I have absolutely felt my lowest bottom. The Lord through Pastor Shawn has really kept me from making a permanent solution for a temporary problem.
This is an awesome message, Pastor Shawn! I can relate in many ways, from the addictions to wanting to be a good father & husband. I have 2 boys 10 & 2, I am trying to get closer to god, so i can teach them about him & get them close to him as well. God bless you sir, that 13 year old become a man is a good idea. Im gonna use it!

@@kathyhenderson705 ESV and NIV are translations of the bible! Every bible you can get has a translation so if you look up NIV bible multiple options should show up:) The message translation is also great! Hope this helps!
These are different translations of the Bible! My favorite is the message but it more of a loose translation but easier to understand! If you look up "NIV bible" or whatever translation, any of the resulting bibles will be great :) hope this is helpful!@@kathyhenderson705

What is the best bible to buy when you are a beginner?
Any bible is going to be good! ESV or NIV are typically the translations we use for teaching. Hope this helps :)
