Hello! Interesting video. I have also tested these techniques, and they are indeed useful and easy to implement. You just need to be aware of their existence and try them out a few times. Is there any simpler way to arrange the rectangle on the right, with a specific side, directly on the vertical or horizontal axis? Without using the 2 point-rotate method?
To accomplish the 45 degree cuts quickly, I usually put an intersecting rectangle (temporary) where I want the cut to start, then use that intersection to start a new line with the line tool and hold shift to constrain it to an angle interval before placing the other end, then remove the temporary rectangle and trim the outside of the cut in node editor. Hope this explanation helps.
Thanks! You have a new subscriber, love how your videos are short and to the point.
Thanks! Should be able to start getting more out soon, been tied up on a project last several weeks.
Great info! Thank you!
You bet!
I just figured out the two point rotation the other day but thank you for the move together option!
Thanks!
Thank you. Good work.
Thanks!
Wow, another tool in the belt...Thanks !!!
Thanks!

You may have noticed this in the "Node Editing explained" video, but there is now an "Align" shortcut that does just this.
I need to create 45deg cuts at the 4 corners of a rectangle and to be able to adjust sizes. I have Lightburn, appreciate some help Cheers
