New Update today in US...It comes with A improved stability and Quality on all Cameras..plus Now comes with Penta Shot..which is absolutly Awesome!!!!....Penta shot takes 5 continious Pics from each camera..First standard camera,than wide Angle,followed by the telepoto,,,than turns around and takes pics with the two selfie cameras..the standard,than the wide angle..All this within 6 seconds..After you done gives you option to make into a collage..many more cool options you can play with.. Its so cool...
I've owned this phone since it came out and I will say that I haven't had this much fun using a cellphone since my BlackBerry Bold way back in the day. I LOVE this device. So many features and the best audio experience.
I have a V30 and while I was tempted to upgrade, I ended up buying another V30 as it went on sale here in Australia for $479AU (265 Pound) and giving my V30 which is running flawlessly after 14 months to my sister. No regrets staying with LG. Great phones!
I have the v35 and it's the best smartphone I've used. All LG needs to do is figure out a better battery size, be more attentive with their updates and do better with their advertisements and then their V series is the best Android alternative to Samsung

@@zulpiz6665 no big difference in sound quality Just a different tuning (v20 has warmer tone) And v30 has more advanced features (mqa, eq, sound filter,dtsX...) Both have identical power consumption for hifi hi gain mode playback
LG has to work on their battery sizes and photo processing especially for their price points compared to the samsungs and huawei's. At least LG's skin isn't offensive or have a ton of background processes running like samsung even tho looking a bit outdated
True but this phone hardware is pretty efficient /software is pretty optimized. I have seen other phones bigger battery and shitty battery life. I just wish root is available for this phone... 😭
Dude just go into settings tap three dots on right hand upper corner choose list view.Every reviewer stop complaining about LG UGLY UI .Makes me thunk they actually usw a device or just says what they see on 1 day usage without messing with device.
I don't know why LG bothered releasing it in the UK this late and expect anyone to pay full RRP when you can get a LG G7 for half the price. The only advantages of The LGV40 is an OLED screen, slightly bigger battery and slightly better camera.

It's an OK phone nice camera but the processor is slower than the Samsung Note. It constantly says clear your cache like it's overworked. Can't even look thru my email without it pausing. I'd never buy another LG phone. Too much money to not be super fast.
LG release there flagships way to late. Why release this with a snapdragon 845 when the Galaxy S10 will release with a snapdragon 855 just in a few months.

Why would anyone buy the V40 with its outdated chip set knowing the Galaxy S10 is coming out just a few months after? Samsung play it smart, they release their flagships early during the year, and there flagship stays relevant throughout the whole year. while LG waits to release there's with an almost out of date chip.
Note 9 because it's cheaper and runs newer software than LGV40, if you have to have the Quad DAC go for the LGV40... but I don't honestly think the Quad DAC is worth paying more for.

I went from V10 to V40. I really miss the real 2nd screen where you see all notifications. The V40 doesn't have proper notification system.
I went from V45 back to V40, and then forward to V76.
