No. This battery was sent to me for review. I wasn't given any further compensation, which is typical. I don't accept any money. That way I can keep my reviews completely honest and not break some weird "contract"
Hello, I have the following problem with the battery that I bought from Tewaycell 12v 50 Ah. If my discharger needs around 9.75 amps of discharge current, the BMS switches off the battery! A discharge current of 50 amps is specified in the data sheet. See video attached. Tewaycell doesn't respond to my email inquiries. What can I do?
It should be able to discharge 10A DC with no problem. 10A AC would be a different story. I would watch the voltage and the amperage while trying to pull the 10A just to see if anything is out of the ordinary. It should hold 12.6 v @ 10A for a while. Sorry I can't help more.
You got me watching commercials to see you. Touché.
Hahaha! I'm still doing it! Who really knows if I'm even still alive! 😹
Appreciate the work. What temperature is your freezer set at? Have you thought about cold soaking batteries around 30-32f?
Freezer is 0⁰F. I need to get a dedicated battery freezer for testing. Thanks for the comment.

Thanks for the comment!
I just realize that these battery tests are really just BMS tests.
Can you test the newest BMS for DIY projects?
They also test whether the company programmed the BMS correctly. Thanks for the comment.
Transparency?: (maybe I missed it) did you buy this battery yourself , any agreements regarding the review with Teway?

you could have pulled up the app and showed the temp
That's true. Didn't think of it at the time. Thanks for the comment.
