Great defense, semi decent passing, tough picks, and mentally (with addition of some dirty tricks here and there) breaking down opponents helped too. And if I am not mistaking he was averaging 20+ last season of college. He wasn't one dimensional rebound hound by any means... He just chose a different role for himself.
