- Wow, was this a great flight! Although there were some flaws cough breakfast cough this is a pretty solid premium economy. I would definitely recommend flying this if Delta One (Business class) is not an option. Make sure to watch until the very end to see my final thoughts!

After watching several reviews, you were the only one to actually show the footrest and seat lean controls in action. Thank you!
Thank you so much! I tried my best to go into as much depth for this review as possible.
Literally the most thorough review out there and was made by a kid. Keep it up lad you’re doing great!
Thank you very much!
Young man you are going places this was an excellent review! One of the best I've seen. Well done!
Thank you so much! I really appreciate that.
I am giving you a 10/10 rating for your awesome and professional flight review,am very impressed with your presentation and the editing of the making of your video!.
Thank you so much, I really appreciate that!
I am shocked you don't have more subs. Dude this video was well made and informative! I am flying with Delta overseas soon so I appreciate the info shared. Keep the good work with your videos. You will go far :)
Thank you so much. I really appreciate it! I hope you have a nice flight on Delta.
aside from the audio issues from the plane. this is one of the best reviews I've seen. Nicely done.
Thank you very much! I do have some new mics now so the audio should be better in some of my newer videos and videos soon to come.
This was a great, extremely thorough review. I'm flying Premium Select for the first time in a few days from Amsterdam to MSP.
Thank you very much and have a great flight!
I convinced my sister to upgrade to premium select after watching your review. Great job showing all the details - it was super helpful!
Thank you so much! Hope your sister has a safe and enjoyable flight in Delta Premium Select!
This review was so funny and legit. I loved it! I trust your judgement completely! Thanks dude, appreciate you :)
Thanks, glad you enjoyed!
Great review,we are flying from Heathrow to seattle to hawaii in Aug, and the second leg of our journey is with Delta. Looking forward to the flight, the headphones look alot better than most I've seen. Well done and thanks
Thank you very much! Hope you enjoy your flight.
I am taking this flight in reverse from Schiphol to Detroit in May, so i was really glad to find this review. excellent information and I like your informational style. My favorite is your food review! Now i know what to expect. I wont have that awful breakfast because i will have an afternoon flight, but good to know. Good job & i have subscribed in case i take any more flights you have reviewed ahead of time!
Thank you very much. I appreciate it. Many new videos will be coming out soon, such as Air Canada and Lufthansa economy class as well as Delta and KLM business class.
We are back from a 18 day European trip. KLM LAX to Netherlands was exceptional experience (Premium Comfort) KLM service on board was excellent and food was very good. Our way back Delta assigned Airfrance Paris to LAX. Seats were hard and Premium Select was not up to par and very old plane (777-300) without newer upgrades. Airfrance staff average and food was basic. At this point I'm bouncing between United and Delta for my next Euro travel. Since we are a family of 6, we do have to watch our budget and Premium comfort is likely our highest option we have. Love the videos and we are subscribed.
Thank you very much! KLM is one of my favorite airlines also.
Thank you for your review, we are booked into these seats and it was nice to see exactly what we should expect. Nice review.
Thanks you for watching!
Great review of Delta's Premium Select! I last experienced Delta PS on a 767-400 from JFK to SFO last year and I'm getting ready to fly from Seattle to Seoul on a Delta A330-900 in Premium Select on Sunday! I can't wait! I found the 767-400 experience to be good but it was a 10:50pm departure and 1am arrival so there was no meal service or food which was hugely disappointing although I realize it isn't a traditional meal time. Still, something other than chips and drinks would have been appreciated. This coming trip to Seoul is an 11:15am departure and 4pm arrival into Seoul so its an all daytime flight with lots of service! On the way back its also a daytime flight so lots of service and great views too. Thanks again for your review!
Thank you so much! I flew the A330-900neo a few months back in Delta One and it is a wonderful aircraft. I hope you have a great flight with everything that is expected on a long haul flight. Have a safe flight and let me know how it went for you.
keep pressing forward kid, your channel is gonna grow. great vid

Hey Arnav!
Loved the screen size for premium economy! And, cool aviation content overall, we'll keep our eyes open for the next video! ✈
Thank you so much!
Geat trip report little man!!
i had a chance to fly premium select when it was brand new, and boy has it been downgraded, especially food. now you just get an economy meal. in the past you got a full meal, with ceramic plates, metal cutlery and glass....well glasses. it was better than domestic first class.
Wow, I really wish I flew it at that time. That sounds like a great flight! Thank you for the support though.
Thank you for the review. I have been debating between premium select and comfort plus and this video helped!
Your very welcome. Premium select is 100% better than comfort plus.
Thank you for your very detailed review ❤️!
Thank you for watching! Glad you enjoyed it.
Great review; thanks for being so detailed and not rushing through this.
I appreciate you watching.
Great review for the traveler and also DL. You did a good job. ✈️ 😎
Thank you very much!
Really impressive review! Looking forward to the next video. Liked and subscribed!
Thank you very much!
Thank you for going into depth with the details - much appreciated!
Thank you for watching!
As a tall man, I enjoyed it very much. I got a seat in the front of the section. Nobody in front of me. The seat itself was comfortable too.
I am glad you had a nice experience. The first seat is always the best.
Just took this flight in premium select non-stop service from Detroit to Incheon. It was horrendous. The seats were dilapidated and the service was sooooo unacceptable. A 14 hour flight and I saw a flight attendant maybe 5 times for the entire journey. Perhaps they were napping or playing cards below deck? The food was completely disgusting and small portions as well. I was so disappointed and I did complete a delta survey voicing my concerns. This was a Korean Air partner flight and let me tell you, I’ve flown Korean Air many times and this level of service would never had been acceptable on KAL. In fact, it was worse than any delta domestic flight I’ve ever taken as well. Is Delta using this route as the dumping ground for their lackluster flight attendants?? Poor poor piss poor and not worth the additional $600 per ticket I paid.
Wow, that sounds like a terrible flight experience on a 14 hour long flight. 😬We have had really good experiences flying with Delta. I am not sure if it could be because it was a KAL partner flight, but that is not right. Just out of curiosity, what aircraft was that?
Just flew Delta from Seattle to San Diego on 10 Sept 2022 in Comfort Plus. I swore this plan was made around the time the Wright Bros introduced flying. This plane was so old that the seat monitors still had a slot for a credit card and was just a little larger than an Iphone. Half of the monitors did not work. You saw people hitting the screen to get it to do something. First class seats had same size monitors. I finally got out my ipad and watched it. No head rest adjustable pads. I’m glad i did not upgrade to first class. I would have been very mad. The only plus was the flight crew. They made it enjoyable.
Wow! I have had a very similar experience on a very old Boeing 757 from DTW to ATL. Those are some of Delta's oldest aircraft. It is pretty cool to experience an older aircraft on a shorter flight though. Delta was thinking of retiring those aircraft so I hope they do, although I would be very sad. But yes, Delta's service is always top notch. If I were you, I would not upgrade to First class on a flight under 3 or 4 hours and that is only if you get a good deal. Their newer 757's are not all that bad though. I would really want to try that out before they retire.
@@ArrowAviation thanks for the info
Np!
This is the only decent review for the premium select seats, most other videos just show the seat for 30secs then point the camera out the window for take off, well done
Thank you so much.
I have a delta premium flight to London in Feb so Thank you for your review! I also I'm 5ft tall so thank you for letting me know how much room I'll have
Your welcome! I am glad you found this video helpful.
What an amazing review! Very informative! What kind of plane was it though?
Thank you very much. The aircraft was an A350-900.
It would have been nice if you had made it clear that Premium Select gave you access to Delta’s Sky Lounge or you may have had a high status level. Such as Medallion Gold.
I am so sorry about that. We have an AMEX priority pass and a high status with Delta Airlines which is how we could enter the lounge with this booking. You can also pay to enter their beautiful lounges. I will definitely use your feedback for future videos.
Also, I’m doing ATL-BKK Thailand on premium select in 2 months so, thanks for the review
Yeah no problem. Have a good trip!
Thank you for the very informative video! It looks like the legroom is a lot more cramped than the American Airlines premium economy offering. I’d say smoothness is kind of a neat additional metric, but as you said there’s no way the airline can really control that and things like where you sit on the aircraft, size of aircraft, type of aircraft and geographic location of the route all really play into whether you’re going to have turbulence and how you experience it. Good to know it was generally smooth though!
Yes, I don't really do "smoothness" in my videos anymore because of those exact reasons. I have never flown American Airlines in premium economy so I can't comment but maybe I will someday.
Keep up the good work!
@@deekang6244 Thank you!
My dude, I wish I could sub to you 1,000 times, but I will click it 1 time lol Great job!!
Thank you so much, that means a lot to me.
Kudos for pronouncing Schiphol correctly!
Thank you!
Thanks I recently flown delta one aka deltas first class with the flat beds and it was alright. I do not care to sleep though on night flights so I feel like this would be better for nicer price.
I agree with you although I can never say no to Delta One. 😂
@@ArrowAviation Yeah yeah. Tbh delta one ain’t that much of a hype to me. I have flown it multiple of times.
@@ArrowAviation For first class I honestly recommend to you Virgin Atlantic upper class. That is super nice and the service is absolutely incredible.
@@darnitfreedy1812 I have never tried that. Thank you for the suggestion, might be a future video.
@9:52 I think that dessert is a custard. It might be an acquired taste, regardless of whether Delta's kitchens did a good job of making one.
I might have been a custard. I don’t like custard or yogurt in general though.
Love A350 And i like Premium Select.Good job
Thank you!
This premium select is not much different than Main seating. If I am gonna spend a lot of money on a flight, I'll reserve business class. Thank you for the review. It answered some questions I had about Premium Select on Delta airlines.
Premium Economy is a bit better than economy since it is a bigger seat and the food is better. I am glad this video helped though.
@ArrowAviation I have a left knee injury, and seating for a long period of time without stretching properly is painful to me. That's why I was considering premium select. But I need more stretching space and food ( wine is also appreciated 😇).
Excellent review - thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
Thank you for sharing your flight. I hear you and I see that you were cleaning with whipping down the items you knew where important to you!!! I whip down many items even in First Class that I fly on United and American Airlines.
I carry two small 20 count packs of the Clorox whips.
Yea, it is just a lot more sanitary that way. You never know how well the aircraft has been cleaned if it even has.
@@ArrowAviation You are so right!!!😊😊
@@ArrowAviation Well, enjoy flying.😊😊
Thank you, you too!
Well done! Great info.
I totally missed your comment. So sorry. Thank you though.
Great review thank you
Thanks for watching!
I flew Delta Premium Select in September and it was awful. I couldn't move my feet and was uncomfortable the entire flight. The seat would be better without the extra equipment for feet and legs. The meal was so bad that I couldn't eat the dinner service. The food in PS was exactly the same a in coach (Spicy chicken thighs or fake "meat", which were poor choices for any passenger, no matter what cabin they were in). We had that awful dessert on the video, but I couldn't eat it or any of the dinner. That tasteless breakfast sandwich is described well by this young man. Wooden cutlery was an insult. The knife couldn't cut anything. Cheap plastic "glasses. Flight attendants had a poor attitude. Fortunately, I was using points so I didn't pay for this disappointing experience. Currently, the overseas flights I booked were $1500-$2000 more for PS. Definitely not worth it until Delta improves this service.
I hate to hear that you had a bad experience with Delta Premium Select. I agree, the food can be MUCH better but usually Delta's service is great. The crew are usually friendly but it could depend on the route or airline partnership too. I had a similar experience with leg and foot space when the person in front of you fully reclines their seat and your leg and foot rest are out, you barely have any room and I was 5 foot 2 inches at the recording of this video. Delta is becoming very expensive these days. For that price it is totally not worth the upgrade. For a few hundred dollars it is worth it in my opinion. I really hope Delta improves their premium select.
@@ArrowAviation The flight attendants may have been miffed because the flight left 6 hours late, after 3 delays and having to deplane and switch to another aircraft. That awful dinner was served at 2:30 am!! No one was happy, although the passengers were quite calm. It should be very easy to provide an enhanced product that is mid way between business and coach, but PS, as currently offered, isn't it.
@anne w Delta should put their main focus on Premium select. And yes, the Delta delays. I have a video which I will probably post soon from when we flew Delta One in June from BOS to AMS. We had a very very similar experience. We got delayed 8 hours 4 times in Boston and ended up leaving at 2:00am. The Delta One crew was great but Delta has been delaying their flights a lot recently. I hate to say this but Delta is a hit or miss. It can be really really good or really really bad.
Solid review
Thank you so much!
did the people sitting in front of you recline their seats?
Yes, they were reclined all the way for most of the flight.
Dang! You did an excellent job - I then checked out your other videos and it looks like you stopped 😩
Thank you very much! I have been so busy with school and stuff but I am hoping to get more active in the next month or so. I have like 5 or 6 videos recorded and waiting to be edited.
@@ArrowAviation Excellent! I like that you were very honest and you were very thorough! It was difficult to hear you in some spots but I bet you already know that. Looking forward to your posting more reviews!

Nice video, u really did a good review.
Thanks!
Noice job I thought American Airlines suck I’m still not wrong but this made me change my mind a little bit
-A European whose never flown American
Thank you so much! European carriers can sometimes be better than American carriers. They are both great in there out ways.
Your voice is so young 😍 I got hungry of foods you showing.
It got me very hungry as well when I was editing this video.
👏 👏 👏 👏 bravo
@@JackGlick Thank you, I appreciate it!
I flew Delta one and Premium before, All I can say is Delta really need to step up for a price that I paid!
I 100% agree. Delta has been getting way to expensive these days and what is offered on board is just not worth the price anymore.
Good job, kid 👍🏻
Thank you very much!
Hi! Does delta premium select have delta sky lounge access?
Unfortunately it does not. We had an AMEX Priority Pass to be able to get in.
Well done!
Thanks you!
you have lounge access with premium select class?
Unfortunately you do not. We had a priority card to give us access. You can also pay to enter any Delta Sky Club lounge.
must be for international however domestic leg space is pretty small, the same table as usual normal economy with no TV screen.
Yes, premium select is only on international and some transcontinental flights on a select amount of aircraft. In domestic most of Delta's planes do have a TV monitor. Some of the smaller aircraft's such as the CRJ 900's and Boeing 717's don't. On an aircraft such as the a320 or 737, the "first class" seat is a lot like the premium select seat. Premium economy on a plane like the a320 or 737 is just more legroom and a bit more recline. Don't compare premium select to economy or prem economy on a smaller domestic flight.
Does Premium Select take the place of First Class?
Premium select is basically just Delta domestic first class. Delta does have Delta One though which is business class. (I will have a Delta One video out in the next month or so)
flew premium select from DTW to ICN and ICN to DTW, was it worth it, IMHO not at all, I will stay with comfort plus. The first meal from DTW to ICN was incredible, after that nothing was edible. ICN to DTW the food was ok. Definitely not worth the extra 900 dollars I spent round trip. Seat 20A both ways.
I hate to hear about your bad experience with Delta. Delta really has to up their game in catering.
Agree, that breakfast they serve is disgusting.
Yes, not very good at all.
Is this comfort plus
No, this is Premium Select. One class higher than comfort plus.
Good review
Thank you!
Wow! 20 years ago that was just regular economy (coach).
Yes, Delta's Premium Select is only a couple years old.
I wonder if the food same as in economy 🤔
It is basically the same. Just the portion size is bigger.
Man I'm 6 ft 6 finding cheap plane tickets for for my height impossible
That is really tall. I would fly JetBlue if you are traveling across the U.S. because JetBlue along with Southwest are known to have some of the most legroom/ seat pitch.
@@ArrowAviation Im traveling from Texas to Stuttgart, Germany
@@XerxesLounge In that case American and United airlines have great leg room if they go that route. Emirates is one of the best also.
In 6'4 i need keg room period dont looks like nuch leg roo.
@@nolaeast7412 If you are 6’4 the leg room would be a bit tight. You would have to get the bulkhead row if you wanted to travel in premium select which would have much more legroom.
@ArrowAviation so premium select will give me more leg room
@@nolaeast7412 The bulkhead or the very first row of premium select will give you much more legroom since there is no seat in front of you. All your items would just have to go in the overhead bins since there is no seat to put it under.
Yea I went to Madrid in premium select 2 weeks ago and I got that cheese muffin and it tasted like it wanted to make you throw up it was disgusting
Yea, Delta should definitely improve their meal service in premium select. If they do it would be a great product.
Really good video 😃
Thank you!
@@ArrowAviation how old are u btw? U sound young (good content for a kid)
@@yungscallywagproductions I am 13 but yea my friends also say I sound really young. Lol
@@ArrowAviation I’m surprised u got to fly intl as a minor
Yea, like I can fly an airplane at this age. 😅
Delta is getting way too much money for premium.
A bigger seat , big deal .same food as main , same everything and charging 500 to 600 more for that .
You should be ashamed.
I totally agree. When I flew this the upgrade price was only about 200 dollars more. That is a pretty good price in my opinion.
I didnt think was worth it we prefer Comfort
Comfort only gives a few inches of extra legroom. Premium select gives more recline, leg rest, larger screen, better food, and more amenities
How old are you and did you travel alone
I did not travel alone for this trip although I have as an unaccompanied minor in the past.
no its not worth it delta premium select used to be good when they were serving meal with real Chinas and silverware but now its nothing special!
I agree, just a better seat with more legroom and recline now.
Looks like deltas food has gone to shit. How did delta go from being good to garbage with their food 😢
To be completely honest with you, I totally agree and have no idea how that has come to be. Delta used to have great catering a few years back. It can also depend on where you are flying from. DTW doesn't have the best catering for Delta, but BOS for example has pretty good catering. I will have a Delta One video coming out soon which you will see has great food. It depends on which class you are sitting in, but Premium economy and Business class should not have that drastic of a difference in food.
Cute voice
You dropped the ball on showing if it was two seats or three in the premium economy row
Oops. Yea it is a 2-4-2 configuration. Lol
Very disappointed airline.
Delta itself is a great airline. It is just this cabin that needs some more thought in the seat design and catering. Their Delta One (business class) product though is one of the best out there.
Are you really wanted to hear my story? I booked the premium select flight round trip from ATL to BKK on Oct. 2022 - March 2023. From ATL to ICN by Delta the flight attendent was so rude and unprofessional to talk to an old gentle man that forgot to turn off the alarm clock on his cell phone. After all the alarm was set to remind him to take his medicine on the the trip. And the flight attendent refused to get him some water to take his med. From ICN to BKK by Korean airline my premium select become an economic class. In early Jan. I was admitted to the hospital for a week, so I desinged to end my trip to come back to ATL. I had called Delta at least five difference times to change my flight to go back to ATL, each time I spend more than 2 hours oversea call on the line with the agent. They can only put me in the flight from ICN back to ATL but left me out in the cold from BKK to ICN. I have to fine my way to book a ticket to ICN to catch my flight back to ATL. Luckily, the Thai Airway was so nice to check throught all my luggages to ATL, but I have to spend 12 hour transit at ICN airport. By the time I check in the Delta premium select class my seat was not be able to recline and the whole section around me had no inflight entertainment, so disappointed. Again, the flight attendent are not friendly at all. NEVER FLIGHT DELTA AGAIN.
@@t.j.tucker4226 That is a terrible experience to have. I have heard many bad things about Delta to ICN but this was beyond the worst. Delta is usually never like that to us and this could be because we have a status with them but that is still highly unprofessional. Refusing to give water to another passenger for medication also violates so many guidelines. If I had that bad of an experience I would also never fly on Delta again.
