Man Josh Brolin killed it in this movie imitating Tommy Lee Jones. Everything from the voice down to the facial expressions and mannerisms were pretty much perfect.
Earlier, just before they rode the elevator to the top of the rocket, J asked the Colonel what Griff showed him. The Colonel responded “how important you are” directly at J before adding “and your partner”. Pretty sure that the Colonel knew J was his grown-up son.
I love how throughout the movie K acts almost nothing like his older self and J is always wondering what the hell happened to him that made him change so much, then you see this moment, and how K wasn't strong enough to tell a kid that his dad died
I really felt bad for agent J his father gave his life for Agent K, and that's why K chose J for the men in black, and J has much more respect for his father, whom he assumed abandoned him, when he was a little boy, I found the whole scene very touching, Agent J managed to save his partner at the cost of his fathers life 😭😭😭😭
When Josh's K almost broke down in his emotions as he tries to explain little James about his father as adult James, aka J (Will Smith) looked shocked seeing his father being killed by Boris by saving K from being killed, gotten me very emotional. K's mission besides doing his MIB's duties is to watch over James' (J) life. When J chased hitman alien in the 1st movie, K knew that J is ready to an agent for MIB.
“James, if you look right here, I will tell you the only thing you ever need to know. Your Daddy is a *hero* “ That is my favourite moment in the film. It’s one of the saddest moments in a film imo, you can hear the break in K’s voice. The realisation that K has been looking out for James his entire life is such a fantastic plot twist and makes the moments between their future selves so much more special Josh Brolin is such a great actor and he was so good as a younger K. He embodied Tommy Lee Jones’ mannerisms and personality so well it was uncanny
Another brainblast for these guys: Remember when J asked K if he'd ever use that mind wipe device on him before and the latter said no? Enjoy the tears ❤
A small details which fans seems to forget. I think in MiB2, J asked K if K had ever neuralyzed him before and K did not answer. He just walked away. Now that small scene, a comedy piece at the time make sense. K did neutralized J before but refused to say anything about it cos somehow, K knew J will travel back in time.
When James pulled away from K, but K called him back and took his hand again, reflects their relationship. K was always watching over James, waiting for the right moment to bring him in.
Interesting because in the first movie, Kay recruited Jay because he said J can outrun the cephalopoid alien but maybe there's another reason. Kay might've been keeping an eye on Jay all this time.
While the main villain was the weakest part of the movie at least for me, the Time Travel part was done pretty well, and I have to say this was the best part of the movie
This movie was mediocre, but had one of THEE greatest plot twists ever. "My daddy was a hero" from the 1st movie. The fact K was actually always watching over him. How the time travel guy said, "he was there". Just insane. But, instead of making a 4th film. They shouldve made Josh Brolin prequels, because he KILLED this role.

In my opinion they couldn’t have pick a better person. Nailed it completely. (Edited)
@@garyscott9364 wait, do you mean "couldn't have"?
@@bangbroch sure did mean couldn’t have. Damned predictive text got me again.
Faith in humanity back to 7 percent. It had dropped to 4. This thread is as wholesome as it gets.
This is bittersweet too when you think back to the first movie and J asks "You ever flashy-thing me? K, you ever flashy-thing me?!"
Especially since it was originally played for funny, so a big shift in emotions.
That’s the 1st place my mind went when I saw this scene in the theaters
He did it too him in the first one once
When the little boy say, "My daddy is a hero" the tears just pour down my face.
that sounded like a question
Earlier, just before they rode the elevator to the top of the rocket, J asked the Colonel what Griff showed him. The Colonel responded “how important you are” directly at J before adding “and your partner”. Pretty sure that the Colonel knew J was his grown-up son.

This movie is like coming full circle for J
This was probably the first scene to truly bring me to tears. I love my dad and the thought of a boy losing his dad is so sad to me.
J: What the hell happened to you man?
Young K: I dunno. It hasn't happened yet.
When Josh's K almost broke down in his emotions as he tries to explain little James about his father as adult James, aka J (Will Smith) looked shocked seeing his father being killed by Boris by saving K from being killed, gotten me very emotional. "hey K have you ever flashy thinged me?"
"no"
"I ain't playing with you K have you ever flashy thinged me !?!"
"no"
I'm ugly crying, not even ashamed of it. 😭
You're not the only one.
Me too. I am emotional 😭
Josh Brolin was the perfect casting choice for a young Tommy Lee Jones. i remember thinking, wow he looks just like him
These reactions really needed to add the scene from the cafe where J thanks K and K's reply back.
You could just go to their pages to see their reaction to that, this vid only shows this one scene
@GoliathWarfare I did rofl
I like how most of the reactors are shocked at the watch reveal instead of the kid saying his name is James
they probably forgot his full name, as he is just known by Agent J in the films
@joshuaminke6629 and I wanted more of what could have been Agent M 😢
“James, if you look right here, I will tell you the only thing you ever need to know. Your Daddy is a *hero* “

This scene never ceases to break my heart 🥺
My daddy is also a big hero. May he rest in peace. 😢🥺🙏 what a great scene
Me at the beginning: hehe funny movie 😂😂😂
Me at the end: oh damn 😭
they shouldve had adult J mouth "My daddy is a hero" along with his child self.
K is J’s second dad.

Can you do the scene of Agent J said thank you to Agent K? that scene is so touching.

I was like Simone and George ( CineBinge ) the first time i saw this part.
It broke me
This scene gets to me every time I watch it. 😪
When James pulled away from K, but K called him back and took his hand again, reflects their relationship. K was always watching over James, waiting for the right moment to bring him in.
Luke Cage was agent J's father the whole time
So many other reactors started this trilogy and never closed it out. Missing out on this gem of a movie. Such a shame
The heart strings were TUGGED on
Comedys with these scenes in them are lost to history. Shit gets me everytime
Interesting because in the first movie, Kay recruited Jay because he said J can outrun the cephalopoid alien but maybe there's another reason. Kay might've been keeping an eye on Jay all this time.
This is why he never answered when J asked “did you ever flashy thing me?”
J literally asked k if he ever neuralyzed him and guess what it happened not once but twice
While the main villain was the weakest part of the movie at least for me, the Time Travel part was done pretty well, and I have to say this was the best part of the movie
The time travel was really well done, and this scene made the trilogy. Retroactively made the first film better (and it was amazing already)
Best villain in the series.
@alphanerd7221 if you like him then that's ok, some do, some don't
One of, if not THE, best 3rd movie of a franchise where the movie took place YEARs after the original
This ending was perfect.
Amazing scene.
Masterpiece ever 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Why does Josh Brolin as K in this movie remind me so much of Roger Moore as James Bond in the 007 movies? Dude could pass for a perfect James Bond😊
Simone's reaction was worth watching
I've heard some people say that they think MIB 3 isn't as good as the previous two. In my opinion, that could not be further from the truth.
K was definitely watching J grow up from the shadows, always close
Part Its very very sad :(.....
Agent K Your Dad is hero
James my Dad is hero?
Perfect ending for a perfect trilogy.❤
I felt made they through this heart string puller at us like that.
I have a feeling that scene might have impacted me more if I hadn't predicted it the moment that character showed up.
So future J just watched the flash without his shades on and he didn't lose his memory?
It wasn't pointed at future J
Just realized J's father was Luke Cage🥸
My god that kid is inanely cute.

Who would have thought that Luke Cage could be killed by Boris the Animal. Where was Jessica Jones ?
Love this movie
Cohen's scenario.
