I’d love to hear it start and drive, I sold mine in 1988 for £5000, it went off to Papua New Guinea, so if anyone knows of a maroon 4.2 there, it’s my old car.
Please........ keep the camera still, you cant see the engine compartment because you're flying around like a demented fly! At the beginning you went round the car 3 times and I was left feeling seasick.
I can't believe it.!!! A Jaguar with a Daimler grill.??? Tacky, tacky.!!! What a bad taste.!!! That front grill does NOT belong here.!!! I will never buy a car in that condition, and if I did, the FIRST thing I'll do, was to install THE CORRECT GRILL .!!!! It doesn't promote the person who did that.!!! Tacky... And "fully restaured by a classic specialist, and so lower mileage," and already in need of a rebuilt, and needing a new engine.???? Fishy..
@@bradleyjamesclassics Daimler cars had the rippled grill, Jaguars had the smooth grill. It simply has the wrong grill installed, so the look is wrong. It stood out by a country mile at first glance of the car.
There were only Jaguar Sovereigns in 1984. The Daimler model had been dropped from the range for a couple of years. I bought a 1984 Sovereign and still have it in original unwellded condition.
1984 Jags were very good quality thanks to John Egan who took over Quality Control in 1982. Egan then went to Aston Martin in 1986.
I need to buy one...again.Already had 2 but need a v12
