This is probably too late, but please play northwoods, an Alister McKenzie course in the redwoods. Tilden Park in Berkeley, Morro Bay, poor man's pebble beach, and please visit Balboa Park. It is not as famous as Torrey Pines, but more scenic. Also, you should find plenty of clubs at Rodger Dunn in Santa Ana, the parent company of Evan Watts and San Diego should yield you plenty of used clubs. They have golf mart down there which is the same as Evan Watts and Rodger Dunn. Enjoy the beautiful golf the West Coast has to offer. I need to golf in Shasta!

So many youtube golfers retake many did shots multiple times it crazy their egos that weak. People don't care about the score, people follow because of the golfers character. I spent some time in Mt. Shasta as a kid. My grandma lived up there for a few years. Such beautiful country. We always joked about Black Butte being called Black “Butt” too, lol. If you guys are coming down the coast almost a days drive south you get to San Luis Obispo County (where I live). Check out Morro Bay Golf Course. It’s absolutely beautiful and is my absolute favorite place to play. Just played there last Thursday.
Just played a tournament with 44 guys there a few weeks ago and stayed in the chalets across the street. Deer everywhere! Awesome to see you were there!

Moose and elk are very different, but for a Florida man, I will not give you too hard of a time.
Did that trip last year: San Fran up to Montecito, then to Bandon, then inland to Crater Lake, then down I-5 past Shasta to National Park at Lassen Peak. (It’s incredible. Go if you can. Shame you are already south of Crater Lake.)
I’ve played there about 10 times! It is beautiful! I remember being on about the 6th. Hole and realizing it was the most quiet golf course I had ever been on! 👍🏻👍🏻😊☮️

If you want a crazy experience, you have to play the Brooktrails course just outside of Willits Ca.
It’s in the middle of a redwood forest, and no matter how much you love nature and the environment, you’ll be a fan of chainsaws after playing there.

So awesome!! I've played this course before, it's beautiful amongst the Redwoods but most definitely challenging with a slope rating of 130 off the white tees. And I can appreciate all the views, Mount Shasta has an aura around it, it's mystifying to look at!!! Great video :)
Another great course near there is Lake Shastina golf resort. It’s about 30 minutes from that course.

Gypsum Creek in Eagle Colorado has a hole with about a 30% grade cart path and warning signs to slow down. We almost died on that path.
If you’re going down the coast, look for pacific grove golf course, it’s also known as poor man’s pebble beach!

If you're heading down to California and staying on the 101, do yourself a favor and play Northwood golf course. It's off the 116 fwy near Guerneville. It's similar to this course but better! Alistair MacKenzie designed it. You'll love it!

This hits close to home. My family was originally from Shasta, so I spent a lot of time visiting family up there when I was young. And we played that course all the time! Great memories from like 25 years ago. Glad you guys had an awesome time.
If you guys are coming to Southern California a golf course you need to play is Los Verdes golf course in Palos Verdes it's over looks the ocean it's a public golf course and if you can play close to sunset the views are amazing of the ocean

Looks like our Evergreen Colorado golf course. It's a guess on where the flag is. Watch out for the elk.
That was a tight little corse with rolling green complexes. You hit some nice shots. Especially since you just walked from the car to the tee and played with a mixed set of clubs. It looked like you only had 9 or 10 clubs. The secret is out, you've got some game. I'd love to have your putting stroke on my team in a scramble.I like the pace you play. We could play a round in 3 hours easy.

That was a Douglas Fir :) Shame the wildfire was going in the Smith River area. Some of the most beautiful land anywhere and lots of Redwoods in that area!
You are in my neighborhood we are on the Oregon side of the border so basically in an ecosystem similar to the "Siskiyou pass".

The most gorgeous golf course I ever played was in a rainforest on the island of Oahu, Hawaii. It was truley amazing.

If you’re heading down to Southern California, then you gotta play Rec Park in Long Beach(where Tiger grew up playing). One of my favorites is Oak Quarry Golf Club in Riverside….kinda far but worth the drive! Have fun!
