From an Indian restaurant to an Aston Martin. So glad I have subd over the past years to see Matt create excellent, fresh content. Well done.
Having eaten on that very Indian restaurant so many times over the last five years…yeah agree….well done !
Matt!
That would be one hell of a Deliveroo
he owns an indian restaurant?? crazy

Matt the electronic dif fault could have been two things, one.. when a battery has been off for prolonged periods of times most modern cars loose their traction calibration / dif setup and need 15 miles or so of driving to recalibrate before they come back on (this happens on my BMW all the time) .. or two, your alignment was causing the dif to sit unhappy, again I took my BMW out for an alignment after fitting coilovers which required the alignment knocking out on install, this caused a TON of dif and transmissions errors because the direction of travel was causing too much pressure on moving parts, this went away after an alignment

hey is there a bot in ur replys
same thing on porsche when battery dies or gets replaced you get a few system faults like chassis fault, pdcc fault and system headlamp fault etc but they go away within 25km of driving.
there is a steering wheel position sensor on all modern cars so naturally when the aligment is off ( steering wheel is off to the left lets say and the car actually goes straight) ABS should not work and the slip diff as well. Happened to me on an old car (the ABS thing).
Awesome video, thank you
Matt if you want to keep this car then you 100% deserve it, look how far you've come
He has a lambo, let him raffle this so i can win it haha
@@benl8177 That's fair hahah, I know which one I'd pick stylewise 😇

I’m still impressed you even achieved this. Even the dashboard fitting was just car porn 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
On a long run you'll get over 30mpg, so that range was very pessimistic. I've had mine 18 months and I've averaged about 25mpg. One thing to watch - with those big bonnet vents, if you jet wash it, you can get water into the V of the engine, which corrodes all the coil packs. Don't jet wash it and leave it standing, basically.
Thanks mate!
@@MatArmstrongbmx No worries. If you have trouble with dealers looking at panel gaps, I can send pics of mine. I don’t think you’re far off now.
I averaged 24mpg on mine after 24 months, things that were fixed by dealer, rear hatch rattle, swapped the differential due to whining noise (known issue on early 2019), panel gaps were never authorized. Other than that the car was flawless.
Was probably estimated from the last X number of miles driven. I wonder what could cause it to be so low...? 😂
Or jet wash it but use compressed air or a vehicle drier on the engine afterwards
You deserve it mate, you've took risks, worked hard and you put yourself out there and it paid off. This car is so bloody nice looking, it's unbelievable. Enjoy it mate. Looking forward to seeing more vids of it.
The panel gaps look fine! Your a perfectionist haha love the vid Matt one of my favourite builds
Is hate to buy a car of you mate…😂
@@TonyMontana-vt2io mate it’s an aftermarket body kit it looks good it’s not gonna be 100% bang on. If his happy with it why are you bothered?

Mat, this video series with the Aston Martin is the best thing I’ve seen on UA-cam or TV in a long time. You’ve truly shown determination, resourcefulness and a labor of love.
It brings me so much joy to hear that you’re keeping the car. She is truly something special.
I love this car so much that I’m willing to give the white calipers a chance. Fantastic work. You are truly an inspiration.
This series is about the only thing keeping me going at the moment, tried to replace the fuel injectors on my car and fucked it completely, sheered a bolt off into the engine. Stressful times for me and my bank but watching your videos makes me so happy. I absolutely love every one of your videos, keep up the brilliant content
We love your car vids it’s so impressive that you can fix these. Keep the great content up
Matt’s life is a result of hard work , getting off your arse and not blaming everyone else for your life choices. He made all the choices himself and I’m sure some are bad.
Mat you're the reason I started doing work to my own car instead of relying on friends to come and do it, thank you!
More likely the E-dif needed all the wheels pointing in the same direction for it to work
Agreed!
Definitely
Panel gaps around the headlight look ok to me,,it is normal on most cars for the top edge of the light to be exposed a little.
Don't worry about it , it looks great.
That onyx black colour is probably the best blessing in disguise you got buying that car as it’s soo easy to just paint one or two panels and have no issues with colour matching!
Yes Matt, only three years ago. You have done so well for yourself and you so deserve it. Another great build and let’s not forget your expertise in filming and editing the entire thing to make it such an interesting watch. Respect.
This car looks really fine. I am amazed how well this build came together

The effort for those seatbelts! Can't wait to see what colour you wrap it!
Love how you had a good moan about the panel gaps when we all know you are going to wrap it (probably like the Lambo ;-)
I don't know about everyone else but I love how you select different genres of music for different brands of cars your working on. keep up the good work bro
Atleast someone noticed 😅
@@MatArmstrongbmx that classical music throughout the Aston build 😂
Once again Mat, you’ve knocked it out of the park, the private plate was the cherry on the cake mate 👍🏻

Great job, Matt. It's going to be a real beast on the road. Congratulations on your efforts, it really wasn't easy. But you have enough energy for another Aston😏
Excelent, I was really waiting for the final work with this car. I never see a car like this here in portugal. Thank you.
I think its awesome you are out there in the UK doing these mods and rebuilds. It’s pretty common over here in the US, but there is definitely a stigma over there about modifying cars. I see it exactly as you do as an expression of yourself and your personality. And a lot of the time you can make the car so much better. Keep it up brother🙌
When you just know wild wrap is incoming 👀🔥
I’ve been waiting for this for so long lol
Not really long
Mat Well, the Aston Martin is looking great so well done. Really enjoying the video
Ive just sat and watched all your Aston episodes, wow just wow good on you for tackling something so daunting. I wouldn’t and I’ve been in the motor trade for nearly 30 years and I wouldn’t (maybe that’s why)
Literally I don't care what you do to your cars they all look amazing I just like what you do and all the hard work that goes into it
Although this has been the most challenging I feel it's probably even the most rewarding car to fix. Its looking epic.
Ps had you considered picking up a trickle charger for future projects, they range from £30 to £hundreds but could be useful for keeping cars topped up when working on them for long periods and obviously eventually it will end up saving you money on batteries
Those white callipers is a welcome addition Mat. They really really cool 😎
just watched a few of these vids on this project, and i can say i love it, for anyone who has ever done things to their cars before, i can tell you , even though some things are crazy hard to get to and hard to remove etc, it is so much fun, and enjoyment all the way. look forward to seeing this on the road, well played pal, fair play to ye
Went back and watched some of your old videos Mat with the TT and the 1 series... The evolution is MAD! You could tell even back then that the channel was going to grow like it has. Wicked entertaining and 10/10 content as always never watched a bad video from you!
Matt this has been - of all your great content - the one that has kept me gripped waiting for the next instalment. Maximum kudos for this incredible build and story. Keep it up!
Keep up the hard work Matt your smashing it.
when matt smiles I automatically smile back
Appreciate the quality of your videos Matt , I’ve been watching since you had the tt and it’s unreal how for you’ve come , deserve it 100% , even decided to do a few things on my car myself although I don’t know how you make wrapping look so easy 😅 🤣 , keep it up mate 👍
Great work, the E-diff will show a fault when wheel alignment isn't correct as it uses the sensors from all 4 wheels to give precise traction control.
Noooooooooo i found this series random in YT . I was caught in the moment like crazy and keep watching until now , that I realice that it was recently uploaded !!!!! And now I have to wait for the end !!! Noooooo !!! Btw an amazing job … and quiet frankly , amazing is an understatement.
Mat your tenacity amazes me. I've rebuilt 2 write offs and built a replica ferrari 308. What you take on amazes me. Well done
I can only hope that you will stay as you are and will never ever fall to the dumpster of other car repair channels which are not watchable anymore.... ! Keep you great work and spirit, love it!
Kudos to you for persevering such a difficult build and also motivating many to follow your steps...
Total respect!!
Nice One Matt Love the Aston Martin ! You should feel very proud of yourself awesome job!!
This got to be the best car channel. I love the range rover series. And this one is my fav too.
The video brought a big smile to my face so happy for you matt and just proves that hard work and dedication pays off. I can remember when you bought the Aston the problems you had to face wow massive project but you handled it so well. Seriously you are one clever guy. Nothing but respect for you mate. You smashed it
I have been watching you since the beginning and you have come so far you must be so proud of completing that build imagine it was very difficult what an achievement
As a guy who changed his Aston brake calipers from red to lime green, I don't have a problem with modification. But the red made sense with your interior.
You are such a positive person and it kinda gets me motivated to get out of my shell and enjoy life a bit more
I worked at a shop in my early 20s and Astons were one hell of a problem. It's such a shame because they're beautiful.
There is no Aston Martin video without a call from Matt to the Aston Martin mechanic 😂. But this is the best build so far in my opinion.
I cant believe you have only been doing this 3 years, inspiring! Good work
Here we go, loving these updates on the Aston
I love mods that are tastefully done and looks like may have come from factory yet makes the car unique.
Good video iv got the same name as u want a coincidence
The fact you wouldnt put the badge on the bonnet until its all sorted... respect.
Love how fine you cut it with these videos, working right up to the last minute and then editing content the day its released. Incredible work Mat 👏
84k views in 4hrs!!! You must be doing something right! Love watching your channel and just want to say thanks for letting us normal guys live our dreams of rebuilding our dreams, exactly the way we imagined it. May your life be one well lived. Enjoy
Have to say once again you have smashed it out the park no matter how hard the challenge you’ve been set you always make the cars look absolutely fantastic and I definitely rate the white calipers its different but proper stands out on the car
So proud of you matt . A true inspiration 👏 keep up the work never look back only forward .
Yours videos are the only ones I see, in full lenght. Keep up the good work. 🇩🇰
you have beaten all odds, and i mean look at you 3 years ago if anyone came to you and told you this would happen you would have laughed off...but see now...just awesome mate.
Mat it’s awesome to see you working with that huge smile on your face. I haven’t been following you for long but it seems you deserve all your success.
Great content. Thankyou.
You are really giving guys the passion to follow there dreams to just get up and do what they want. Keep doing what your doing and enjoy !
Those calipers look the biz. Enjoy the car Matt, the effort you put into this build, deserves its return by keeping it and enjoying the driving experience.
Seeing the come up has been mental, been here since the first one series just after the TT. Growth has be exponential!! Keep up
White callipers are so underrated. Can’t wait to see the wrap colour! I don’t know why but I’m thinking Miami blue would look so good.
This has to be one of the best channels on UA-cam for car content. Keep up the good work kid 👍
Music for each scene is bang on
big respect, love the tints and the callipers, keep up the mad work!!!!
This and the range. My 2 favourite builds! Been a follower from the start but these 2 are perfect for me! Great 2 car garage if I could!
Loving the progress Mat, my dream car. By the way you’re not an ordinary guy, you’re extraordinary. Looking forward to when Aston gives it a once over. Great plates and loving the custom callipers. 👍🏻
Love your energy and positivity man, thank you for brightening up my day!
These journeys are incredible, from nothing to something. Also love the passion you have for these machines!!
i normally click through the best bits of any vid, but not yours Matt !! you have cured my attention deficit disorder!! thanks Dr Matt
The callipers look amazing. Another great choice! Well done Matt! 👏
I think I'd have to get a seat and spend my time just staring at those lines. What a beautiful car.
I love this car, Aston Martin really nailed the look of this model. You have a fantastic car here so its good to hear you get that and are intending to keep it.... for now. But again the fruit of your hard work and patience.
I am always amazed how you address all these problems in your project cars.
Hey mat, ive been following the C63 the Range Rover and This build ever since they started ur channel is amazing keep the good work up!
Got this feeling your gonna wrap it and spoil one of the most beautiful cars on the road. But it's your car. Massive respect for all the vids on this I wish I had 2% of your talent
Congrats Matt! You absolutely deserve all of the successes you have achieved. We've all watched you EARN those successes. Your channel has been an inspiration!
loving the white break calipers already without even knowing the next step - well done matt (as always - well most of the times :)) .. go matt!!
Hands down the best car UA-camr bar none!! Always look forward to a new video, thanks for the entertainment 👍
I just can't stop watching your Aston Martin Video-Parts.
Bold choice them white calipers! I quite like 'em, I'd have gone yellow against the black personally but that's the best thing about modifying, you make it how *you* want it
Wow! I love this series! Not only educational but awesome to see it come together. Keep up the great work! I thought you where going to put your name on the calipers but reversed lol.
impressive that you can fix these. Keep the great content coming fantastic car matt full respect to you and your team .
Actually love your videos. So good Mat. Proper look forward every time I get a notification. This build is mega too. Love it
Loving your work. I am not a classical music buff by any means but I really appreciated the change in background music for the start of this video. It felt more congruent with the AM.
Every car you do an the mods are the type I enjoy as well which of course makes this one of my favorite channels. The white calipers are dope for sure.
Amazing dedication! Inspiration to all. Great job buddy. Keep those videos coming.
Great video Matt fair play to you I love that you chuck yourself in at the deep end. The plate looks quality!!
Saying if you can do it everybody watching can do it is underestimating yourself. Be proud on yourself!
I cant wait for this Aston to be finished. I own an N430 Aston Martin. I love it. And the white callipers look great. Cant wait for the next video.
I love the white calibers. Was thinking of doing the same to my own. So I def approve . I know what’s coming next video…, wrapping the Aston Martin 😀
Congrats to you for making it this far. Myself along with a friend, just started rebuilding crash damaged vehicles. Much Smaller scale than these exotics, but everyone has to start somewhere!!
great content as usual. best channel on the tube!
drove one of these at a supercar day a few weeks ago and it feels way more than 500hp, the torque comes in so fast and it just pulls.
keep it up!
Beautiful Mat a real credit to you Hanna and everyone involved 👌🏼
Oh lord! If you ever did a give away with this car my old man would die and go to heaven! Black and white looks smart as hell.
Hay Matt, nice to see your Aston Martin rolling at last, and the calipers look great in white. Stay safe.
Always like the choice to include classical stringed music on these videos.
This channel is the first thing I check when I am on youtube. Cant wait to see the finishing touches of the vantage♥️
