The only Class missing were the Centipedes[BP-50],and I was lucky enough to catch one on the Middle Division in 1960! Awesome engines, and totally unique! The old PRR,really did set standards, and the NYC,wasn't any slouch either! Thank you 😇 😊!
There was a couple pairs on the layout, unfortunately I did not have enough storage space to video them. I'm sure it was incredible to see them! I wish I could too.
Well done Landon. My favorite era. Big steam and 1st generation diesels. I like the music very much! Curious though. Are the steam engines equipped with sound? Especially the T-1s.
Larry Reynolds has built an incredible layout and thanks to you for filming it. Does Larry have a UA-cam channel? Spectacular scenery and rolling stock.
Very nice. I plan on modeling the Pennsy in the steam era (1940s-50s), though I very much doubt mine will be even close to as large (or detailed) as this.
Fantastic! Love the MG tower shot. (Although the light helpers should be going east not west) Also, I believe on the 4 track mains, freight always used the inner 2 tracks and passenger used the outer 2. But what do I know? Still beautiful.
Sometimes during the operating session we have to go a little outside of reality to make the railroad run well, over 30 trains were run in 4 hours with almost all having pickups or drop-offs in the yards
The helpers have been cut from their shove and will x-over at the interlocking to the number two track, then down the hill on number two. When it comes to the Pennsy,...never say never. :-)
That’s a great looking layout. Honestly, though, I think those two yellow Great Northern reefers were too new; the large silhouette mountain goat logo wasn’t adapted until the mid ‘60s.
@@landonthetrain no worries then. I’ve lost count of how many “period” layouts and dioramas I’ve seen with a Pennsy K4 or GG1 hauling Conrail enclosed autoracks or CSX double stack container well cars, right behind a Lackawanna Phoebe Snow boxcar.
Beautiful layout! Beautiful job!!! My kind of layout! Thank you!
YES SIR!!!!!!!!!
Absolutely gorgeous equipment. Very well done.
Beautiful trains, just wish we could have seen more of the layout! I bet it is really great!
I might have a layout tour in the future, it's an incredible layout!
I felt like i was there. Awesome.
that was awesome!
I LOVE those PRR T1 locomotives as I own a BLI Blueline series model of one just like the ones in the video. Mine is numbered 5539.
Nice details & scenery, as well as engines!

The music 🎵 is perfect.
Very nice video but I would've liked to have had some longer shots mixed in. Would like to see more of the layout.
I do have a layout walk-around tour, but I'd have to get permission before uploading as there are a few people in the video. Thank you for the advice

@@philthompson3415 All of them are sound equipped! I edit music in to block out the talking and cursing of the other operators lol.
this is epic
Man, I love those Hippos!
Yepper about my favorite! This guy seems to 2+ of everything, with train phones!
beautiful modeling :)

I don't think he does, but I have a couple other videos covering his layout if you would like to check them out.
Cracking layout
AWSOME
Very Nice !

Great music...Great video. TNX
Wow great video and great music! What big band is this?
This song is The Millers Tale by George Roumanis, I also use a lot of Glenn Miller songs.

Very nice but weathering on the trains would have improved the layout significantly
Very nice video! @ 2:43 like the ore load. Is it loose or glued in?
Probably glued
@@landonthetrain yeah. What I did to mine. Will have a video of the reworked WM ore train coming.
Where was this at?
I'm thinking of the Strasburg railroad inside the Pennsylvania Railroad museum that you went in
But I could be wrong
This is a privately owned layout near Allentown, PA
PRR took a long bath before making this video.

There are a couple cars on the layout out of era, they are there as fillers I believe for the operating sessions

You are so correct. They were given by a good friend, so I did a bit of era stretching.
Do you know who was running the I1 helpers?
me
I prefer the sound of steam locos…..☹️☹️☹️
I do too, but not when there's operators swearing in the background of the videos lol
