Hey, I have one thing you might one to add to a future video of this kind for V2: When selecting more than two shapes, you can assign a "key shape" that the rest of shapes will align to or substract from by holding Alt and clicking said object.
Epic video, thanks. I'm going to try making shared paper and for grid paper with that grid tool. Brilliant, I was trying to mAke a calendar grid box by box but that will be SO much easier. Love linking things across all three apps to, that skill make things much quicker and easier. Thanks for explaining them all. 👍☕
Another great video. Didn't know you could make multiple outlines now in the FX panel.....that's a great tip! A few other things I didn't know as well. Always get great info from your videos! THANKS!!!
When making the grid, press control (MAC) and move the cursor. and also the shift and option (MAC) keys make it change. Ohh when drawing a shape the control (MAC) key makes it rotate...I didn't know that, was this in v1 too?
@@BrownBearProductions on the mac, the control key makes the shapes rotate while you draw them. I guess its the ALT key on windows. I have to try tomorrow on the windows pc at work.
The last one is good ,but I wish it would work with objects. Nesting objects on the sheet for printing or cad cutting is so lame in affinity or I don't know how to do correct way

Not sure about with MAC but I know on windows holding control makes the shape be created from the centre which was also in V1

Ah yes. On windows to rotate you use the right mouse button 👍🏽
