didnt realize they reduced its firerate, when this game first came out i used this gun a ton but I guess with the reduced firerate it isnt nearly as powerful (before that nerf it was imo the best assault rifle)
@@zekuh9831 g3 is kinda weird, it's an intersection between dmr and battle rifle but ends up just being the worst version of a dmr, and the worst battle rifle. Add the slow long reload, and I'd never seriously consider running it in it's current state, very possibly the worst weapon rn.
I like using this gun if I want a challenge. Back in the day the gun flashes used to cover a big chunk of the screen masking the enemies you're shooting

Having a high kill count while using a gun thats pretty much dog water is such a flex. Although achieving that isnt that hard once you put the hundreds of hours into the game and master it. Thats why Im looking forward to the changes so the game feels alot more fresh and maybe give other guns a chance to shine.
Before the firerate nerf I loved it so much. Smacked some velocity muzzle on it and I was good to go using it for medium to long range. Also have fond memories using the SG in Cs 1.6 because it was shiny
Yeah I used to be a SG550 Fiend. But I found after they nerfed the firerate on this weapon it really felt like it had been neutered. I just feel like there's so many better options, Ak74, AUG, M4, the list goes on. Idk why, i think its the pairing of fire rate & recoil but I find the F2000 to me feels like what the SG550 used to be, only drawback with the F2000 is its damage, its great 1 on 1 but if you're engaging a cluster of enemys bunched its hit marker city. i dont think you misunderstood the gun, i think it`s more of a personal taste to both the look, sound and feel of a gun. Personally i like it alot, but i cant argue over you fact based stats:)
It's 100% personal preference at the end of the day, a good player can get to of the leaderboard with any gun so use what feels best to you at the end of the day. There are stronger and weaker guns but the power gap is low enough that player skill is more important
i noticed the SG550, FAL, and P90 fall into this strange category of being pseudo silenced. while not as quiet as having a suppressor their nose is so unimposing and soft it can often be over looked so being stuck with the flash hider isn't the worst thing ever. heck that quad kill you got if you tried that with the hk419, RPK-16 or ak-74 unsuppressed they would have noticed you easy and gunned you down more likely
I consider it a better MP5. Slightly better range, best reload speed for busy flanks, and recoil is easy to control. Perfect for medium ranged targets.
would the gun have been better with a thermal site? I only bring it up as it is the only site that is similar to a reflex but is used for longer ranged fights
I can't get on with the FLIR's optics as they've made them really bulky, and it also has a low framerate effect I dislike. The SLIP sight is prob the next sight up i'd run (2.0x zoom) but the problem with this gun is the recoil values, and higher zoom means more felt recoil, so prob not wise for this one

My channel is a small one! It's a lot of noise about it, and more than any other weapon. I'll get through all weapon reviews eventually anyway, so all it meant was I prioritised playing with this gun for them.

Sure, but it's really not the point of the gun, it keeps that same TTK up to 150m and shoots very accurately - unlike the zoomer SMG's that smash it up close

Yeah problem is most of the best attachments now all coincidentally hide the flash anyway

Let's see what the full audio rework next patch will do, every gun is getting a full overhaul so it's all going to switch!

Try using the Aug3 with thermal sights.
