le seul truc qui me fait peur en tant que française donc aimant la bonne cuisine, c'est les produits utilisés dans la vidéo. La crème semble bizarre, les haricots en sachet, le fromage...mais on sent qu'elle prend plaisir à cuisiner et sa baguette sous forme de sandwich donne très envie
Oui et le pain au chocolat le rendu final était bien mais voyant ce qu'elle a utilisé je doute que gustativement parlant ce soit le même rendu😅 Après bravo a elle 👌🏻

Par exemple, pour la crème, dans certains pays, elle n'est que "sure" (aigre, acide), et il est très difficile de cuisiner avec puisqu'on ne l'utilise jamais comme ça. Pour le fromage, je n'en parle même pas (j'avais réussi à trouver un compromis en faisant un mix entre parmesan et de la mozarella ne trouvant pas d'emmental)
It's amazing how Josh always compliments Gabie's cooking, you can see he truly appreciates his wife's effort and talent. Especially saying it out loud. Silence is sometimes worse than criticism because you see they're eating it but you don't know if it's just edible, need some work on, or actually enjoyable. As a person who cooks a lot, it means so much when people appreciate and compliments your cooking. It gives you confidence and reassurance that your effort is not wasted. For me it even makes me want to be creative and explore more on my cooking. So please always compliment the people around you, it means a lot.
Lol i wish my dad is like that. My dad never compliment my mom's cooking. He always criticized them which makes me angry (lol my mom's food is amazing okay!!). I once told my dad to cook for himself.
I remember in one of Korean Englishman videos that if Josh doesn't do loud "HMMMMM" means the food is just okay, seeing he always do it means Gabbie's food is extremely good!!

@@timinibus le pai' est assez simple a faire, c'est juste que la pate est longue a faire, mais apres tu te débrouilles, genre tu la fais le même jour que tes pizzas ou tarte-a-restes pour que ce soit pour plusieurs repas, et une petite astuce, si ton pain est racit tu peux ke passer sous l'eau et le passer au four, le passer en pain perdu, en toasts au four ou en croutons, et pour garder ton pain tu peux le mettre au congelo pour qu'il se garde mieux et tu le fais décongeler dès que t'en as besoin
I'm french and this is legit what I ate this week lol. I highly recommend everyone to try Niçoise salad this summer. It is easy to make, healthy, and absolutely deliçious. I also think it can be easily adaptable for anyone used to mediteranean food, as pointed out by Gabbie.
@@Hero69 if you like chickpeas try tossing them in cumin, coriander, garam masala/curry powder, salt, pepper and oil and roasting them til they’re crispy. stupendous snack.

@@Hero69 they normally get eaten up pretty quick in my house so I’m not sure. in an airtight container they might last the week, but I’m not a food safety expert!
also cutting off the excess crust is something professional bakers and pastry chefs do. normally they’ll cook the crust about halfway, until it is firm. then they’ll trim the excess neatly, and finish baking it. they do this because pastry shrinks in the oven, so trimming halfway through cooking creates a perfectly neat edge. the extra-crispy pieces are the chef’s reward/treat!
I love watching you cook Gabbie. It's so calming, but so professional at the same time. As someone who can't cook that well and is scared to cook for other people, I really enjoy your videos and seeing everyone's reactions.

It's always so soothing to watch these videos, where everything SEEMS calm, clean and organized. Cut to my kitchen when I try to recreate the same experience and I'm frazzled, inadvertently sloppy, and screaming.
A little tip that I'm making at home for all the quiches : spread a fine layer of mustard at the bottom, before putting your egg mixture, it's soooo yummy 😋 (And for information, if you cook a gratin dauphinois with cheese, it'll become a "gratin savoyard" ^^ but it's just words so not really important x)

Some chickpea, onion, tomatoes, corn(sometimes), and lemon juice and some citrus for dressing! Tastes awesome
