Bullshit. He was a very sweet person, not all the time, but who is. I had the privilege to meet him once and even though he was clearly exhausted, he was polite and charming. I’m so tired of people putting him down for enjoying being in the spotlight - that’s what drives people to perform. It doesn’t make them bad. God bless them; the world needs them.

Marc's musical performances in this programme were absolutely fantastic, but the interview portions were awful - bordering on frosty. Humphrey Burton (despite only being 16 years older than Marc) was obviously from a completely different world, a total musical snob and utterly patronising and dismissive towards Marc and his music. Ruined what would have otherwise been one of Marc best shows!
