How are the engine sounds on the orbea? It was said that the previous models with the ep8 engine had rattling noises.
The EP8 motor is not as quiet as something like the TQ motor, but we haven't had experience of a 'rattle' with them. The have normal motor hum, but with proper assembly and smart cable management through the frame it can remove some noise. Granted, a bike can never be fully silent due to all the moving parts.
Asina, I'm owner of Orbea Rise for two years. Lots of problems with the bike. The final one is a crack in the frame in one hole that fixes the motor to the frame. Game over for Orbea!
130/130 is just to little. That's XC bike territory.
thats stupid. You must be very young. Back in the days 130 was a hardcore freeride territory. By the way, who says that xc isnt the most terrain most of the bikers are in? Open you mind. Focus on ride a bike can be very fun. In my races, often there were heavy propper downhills i was going with my 80mm 7,4kg Hardtail. If you know how to ride, you have a lot of fun with less mm.
For the price I'd get a Proper sports Motorbike instead...Ha !!
But you won't be able to ride on epic singletrack mtb trails and have to dodge rednecks in UTV'S
