    Just started working for a consulting company deff make sure you take care of time management and sanity levels 🤯 but he’s right, it’s so rewarding to be able to learn from others and have the support to continue earning certs as you move forward 🙌🏽 #hardwork

      Awesome! Enjoy the consulting world and you will learn a lot! If you ever get the edge to do a little freelance consulting on the side make sure you check out my freelance course, if you're anything like me you'll do consulting for about a year and then swap over to doing your own thing!

    Thanks for this informative video. You mentioned the importance of the technical certifications for someone pursuing the consultant position. What about domain expertise? How much will it factor if someone pursues the non profit, health, education certs?

    • @SalesforceForEveryone
      @SalesforceForEveryone  4 роки тому +1

      It will not silo your opportunities. Basically consulting companies want to see the sales and service cloud certs. If you have CPQ, Marketing Cloud or Non Profit those won't silo you, they simply make you more valuable to the consultancy. When it comes to consulting companies the more certifications the merrier.

    • @SalesforceForEveryone
      @SalesforceForEveryone  4 роки тому +2

      Yeah for sure. Consulting can pay well but you'll work for the money. I offer a freelance consulting program which will show you how to pickup clients on the side and build your own client base. Then if you decide you'd rather do consulting with a firm you can swap over to that easily and be ready! bradforce-academy.teachable.com/p/start-and-operate-your-own-salesforce-freelance-contract-consulting-business

    Hi ,I am from Salesforce background having 7+ years of experience as snr admin...I am not keen on coding so what should be my next strategy to either pursue Salesforce BA/ consultant journey without any experience working as one.

    What do salesforce consultants do exactly? Do they build the org as well or does the team of admins and developers make it?

    • @SalesforceForEveryone
      @SalesforceForEveryone  3 роки тому +3

      In all honesty... They do it all. You have admin consultants, development consultants, project management consultants etc...

    I want to be a salesforce project manager consultant. Recently introduced to Salesforce. I am currently working as Agile Coach Consultant. What certifications can I do?

    • @SalesforceForEveryone
      @SalesforceForEveryone  3 роки тому +3

      You'll want to start with the admin cert and prom there probably platform app builder. There isn't a project management Salesforce cert yet so you are trying to show you have foundational knowledge of the platform. If you get those 2 certs you would likely want the Sales Cloud Consultant cert next.

    Hi Brad,
    What are some certifications for consultant?

    • @SalesforceForEveryone
      @SalesforceForEveryone  4 роки тому +4

      The most common certifications for consultants are the Sales Cloud and Service Cloud Consultant certifications but CPQ is popular right now if you want to have an edge.

      @@SalesforceForEveryone is it means that marketing cloud consulting doesnt give a lot of opportunities of consulting ?

    • @SalesforceForEveryone
      @SalesforceForEveryone  4 роки тому +3

      Marketing Cloud is also very popular although many Salesforce clients use Pardot for their Marketing and their are separate certifications for Pardot. To answer your question the Marketing Cloud certification is also very valuable.

    Hi Great content
    I have few questions please can you address
    I finished my admin certification and planning to take sales cloud certification
    But I don’t have work experience right now I am in to oracle .can I directly write consultant certification and will it help in switching to salesforce consultant job
    Thank you

    • @SalesforceForEveryone
      @SalesforceForEveryone  3 роки тому +1

      The consultant certifications will carry some weight when getting consulting jobs. However with no experience in SF it will take some convincing to get into a consultancy. It's much more common to have some experience first.
