There's some confusion regarding the IdeaPad 130 memory...this is because there are a couple of different models. I believe this video is for the 130-15IKB, which has 4GB soldered in and one DIMM slot. The 130-15AST only has the DIMM. Here are the Lenovo IdeaPad Memory Specs gleaned from the HW Maintenance Manual: • Model 130-14IKB & 130-15IKB -- DDR4-2133 MHz, SODIMM × 1, on board × 1 max: 4 GB on board + 4, 8 or 16 GB DIMM = 8, 12 or 20GB • Model 130-15AST -- DDR4-2133 MHz, SODIMM × 1 max: 4, 8 or 16 GB DIMM = 4, 8 or 16GB • DDR4-2400 MHz DIMMs can be used and will clock down to 2133

Can anyone tell me if it's at all difficult to open the case? I am totally capable of doing the steps that are showed in the video. But it wouldn't surprise me if a case gets cracked or broken when trying to split it open. I ordered a Utility knife blade to slip in and pull it apart like it shows in the video. But I just want to know if there is any additional trick or something. Or do I just slip it in the seam and pry gently?
Just as an FYI, I did this yesterday. Everything worked as was shown in the video, however, I will say that it was rather difficult to open the case up. I used a utility blade as shown in the video. It took a lot of patience, but it did work.
It's a dummy disk drive. Meaning it's just there for show (a prop) there's no actual drive therefore it doesn't have a button to open it. And I'm not guessing I read the specs.

sagar b. , no M.2 slot inside. I can confirm that, as I just went to the dealer service for an upgrade without losing my warranty. I had to swap the original low-end hdd with an hi-speed 1TB ssd. The thing got wings!
