I have this car... the sxl is the best you could get in the midsize sedans... all the luxury features...and the turbo engine is really quick... nice car

I love my Kia too I own a 1.6 Kia Forte Koup Turbo SX Stick and let me tell you I already beat a couple of New Honda si and ford St and my kia is stock which that's sad for the other people to loose when kia still to this day have very bad reputation I'm always open for a nice race lol
Chris Hernandez while the Forte Koup is a nice car, I don't see it being an ST, either the Fiesta or Focus when it is bone stock. An SI MAYBE.
the turn signal sounds kinda weird, maybe it's just the videos audio, but still a really nice car
You can make adjustments to so many things in the car with the computer software. I think that you can adjust turn signal sound and the start-up and power down sounds that are made. I don't think that it even has to chime at all if you don't want it to.
I like optima higher trims and a 2016-presents lower trims

You didn't even drive it in sport mode -- which tightens up steering and throttle response.

Did you not get the "Please do not use your head unit while driving etc etc accept/language" screen when you first started up the car? It looks like your screen went straight to the home screen

When he entered the KIA Optima and placed the vehicle in reversed he did not come to a complete stop, and that will ruin the transaxle and catalytic converter because the car was still in motion without completely coming to a full stop.
Symbolic AcclaimedTM why in the name of all things holy would you assume that would damage the Catalytic Convertor??? Also modern transmissions (anything around 2010ish and newer) use VERY sophisticated automated transmissions, along with lockouts and safeguards which make it very hard to actually cause damage by accidentally shifting into reverse while moving.

@@victorkenarsy3024 The older models I don't remember the exact years but between 2011 and 2015? Look up the interiors on the 5 series from those years and it's pretty much identical

You can theirs a setting for that my 2012 kia optima sx turbo has that but this one sounds different mines sound better lol. an also it has a setting that the driver seat will automatically move back shuts off an it will move back on its original setting when the car is turned on :)

Need update a lot of things of this Optima, sound s really bland to drive not my kid of ride. My Optima has a toach screen and aftermarket exhaust way more to drive.

It's nice but you start to notice the cheap stuff like only the exterior driver door handle is illuminated.
+igeekone but, why would the other one need to be illuminated?? lol the passenger didn't buy the car so why should they be treated with door handle illumination? haha that would be overkill

I think you know why. People still think of Kia as the Kia from 14 years ago and can't accept they are making good cars.
+Aspra Please keep preaching! I'm an engineer and I work at the plant that makes the Optima and the Sorento... What people fail to realize is that Kia has stepped all the way up to the top spot in quality (specifically referring to the Sorento which continues to get rave reviews and accolades galore). Our main focus at the plant is quality. We don't play around with it. I own a Hyundai and Hyundai/Kia are definitely companies not to be toyed with. People don't realize that they scratched their way from the bottom to top in less than 10 years. It takes some automaker's decades to do the same.

+Antwon Powell there's increasingly high demand for Hyundais and Kias in our part of the world and I do appreciate their liberal pricing and just the overall quality improvement which is continuous. But after seeing multiple car accidents involving the Optimas, Elantras, Sonatas-they fold like timfoil. Not even high speed accidents, just casual street ones. That was kind a deal breaker for me. Not to sound biased or anything. I do own a Honda though
+Timur Sergaliyev All the way back to 2011 and 2010 on the IIHS has all of them in high standing on safety, getting better as new tech is added such as avoidance tech. What you are preserving as unsafe "folding like tinfoil" is in fact a safety feature. The car is deforming and protecting occupants from the shock of impact. The days of people thinking a "solid", "sturdy" car that can take a hit and keep going are over. Cars destroy them selves to save you and that is what you are seeing.

some plastics sound like the car is going to break apart on broken pavement
I owned a 2013 Optima sx. Traded it first a Fusion Titanium. The Ford is so much better. Kia feels cheap. Rattles galore, turbo problems, radio problems, backup camera probkrms, hard suspension, wind noise, bumper paint peeled off at 25k miles...
