Troye and Connor had such a beautiful relationship. I really truly hope they are both happy moving on and have found closure. I love them both as individuals and care about their individual happiness. I wish them the best!
We don't have a problem with their relationship, if they open up their secrets then maybe we also would stop using the word 'Tronnor'. I their coming out videos they both said that they post the whole life on the internet. But this is not a joke and they must tell the Frandom.

In this case it makes sense that they didn't want to make their relationship public not only because of internet but because it was connors first real relationship and sometimes the public eye can always tear a relationship apart or maybe they wanted it to keep it to themselves. After the tronnor breakup since it was connors first relationship and he says he's been in love the breakup most likely effected him which gave him information to write journals then eventually his second book finally getting closure
