Such a heartbreaking moment for Mother and daughter. There was so much Raelle wanted to know but at least she got to know her mother never stopped loving her💙🖤
This scene hurt so much and the acting is so good.
I don't understand why this show isn't getting the attention it deserves. Excellent writing. Good character building. Grounded. And superb actors!

Yeah but in her mind, there was no need for a last time because she was alive the whole time.
This scene was so heartbreaking. Willa made a sacrifice of selfless love. 🥺 But at least she just got one last moment with Raelle.
They both lost a mother. Willa has been a mother to Scylla too and Raelle lose her twice. This just hurt more. I'll never get that dinner when all of them sat together like a family 🥺

I just realized, I think Willa chose to sacrifice herself to save Raelle, so that Scylla could have a future with Raelle! In episode 5 willa tells Scylla that there are things worth dying for, and there are things worth living for! Willa died for Raelle so that Scylla could live for Raelle!! 😭😭😭😭😭
I cried watching this scene, tears from my eyes fall at the same time.
Got so emotional, it's painful seeing your mom in a moment like seconds then she'll truly gone forever😢 mother's love is so amazing and selfless.

After watching the whole season, no matter how emotional other scenes were...this still is the one that makes me cry the most.

The great and coming war,that adds so many new layers to this series. The Little back and forth with the spree just got a lot more complicated
I’m just imagining an alternative to this. Where Willa heals Raelle and plague starts killing her and Raelle just heals back her mother and the plague just disappears like it did when Raelle healed Kalida and they walk out together 🥺
i wish :( i think Raelle was so powerless right there from fighting the plague that even if she tried she would've failed
Yeah but the plague was so weak at the time. This later strain's just too fast and too contagious. Raelle would just reinfect herself trying to heal her mother.
Raelle was reunited with her mother for a brief moment only to lose her for good this time. 😭

The Christo-pagan work that Raelle and Willa did is powerful. I remember someone saying it wasn’t Christian when it clearly is. The scripture is Matthew 7:7 Willa recites. Her healing was so powerful, that she gained a lot of status in the military for saving so many lives. Every unit wanted to deploy with unit because she was that effective as a healer.
The one person who could have saved her life, Raelle was unable to. I hope they will have a scene next season where Raelle will use the candle at Samhain. This time, Willa WILL be there. A part of me wishes Willa would have somehow survived.

I guess the mycelium is not all that powerful but it kept her alive long enough so....
It's not that the Mycelium isn't powerful. The Witchplague is the only thing that is stronger than it. That's why that's the only type of death that the Mycelium can't overturn. All it was able to do was fight the plague to keep Raelle alive for as long as possible.
