Mack Strong is certainly in the top 30 players of all time for the Seahawks. Dude was a baller. 1994 is also when the tiles from inside of the ceiling of the Kingdome were coming down, and they had to play at Huskies Stadium. Then they would play there again for the 2000-2001 seasons until Seahawks stadium was established in 2002.
man, that year had such a promising start. all downhill after beating the eventual AFC champ (edit: runner ups) Steelers. I had to listen to pretty much all home games on the radio due to local blackout :( I remember reading years later that the injury bug was so bad that coaches had no idea who was filling in at DB for the last couple games
Highlights from the preseason game against the Vikings...LOL...he gained 114 yards in 8 games/ 2 TDs that rookie year...Those Jets were largely quiet in the regular season...Seattle went 6-10.
Nice google stats, but completely misses the point. Strong went on to become one of the greatest blocking backs in league history and should be in the pro football hall of fame. He was never known as a running back with breakaway speed. The title is an inside joke to Seahawks fans.
@@fortknox4740 that's cool...everybody's got an opinion...but HOF? if so every one of these would need to be in too, at least those above him...hard to see that either... nflfootballjournal.blogspot.com/2019/05/the-top-blocking-fullbacks-of-past.html

Loving these videos
Hutch and Big Walt always get the credit for opening up holes for Shaun Alexander. Mack Strong was a huge piece of the puzzle too!
Glorious.

I said...do you have any 1991 Hawks preseason games with Ahmad Rashad and Steve Largent on commentary?
No, what's with the attitude?
