I am Shahzad Ahmad from Lawa Chakwal, I really admire this guy. Despite being so young his intellect is admirable. It's been a year or so since I started following him and Since then I have become addicted to his conversations.
There are many digital media channels in india someone should make a weekly show with him , people who are open to listen should benefit from his thoughts.

As and when you're faced with new information, we have to evolve else we become irrelevant, textbook and end up with not so practical outlook. great podcast guys, really refreshing. Really good discussion, I think that the reason for backwardness in an Islamic country is that they can't criticize Muhammad and Islam. Coz from the very beginning in Islam is DO NOT DEAR SAY ANYTHING AGAINST, AND IF YOU DO THEN YOU DIE.
If you have heard of a person called Ram Jethmalani, he was originally from Karachi and is considered as the best lawyer of independent India. He once said on a RSS event that - I don't like Ram for how he treated his wife Sita.
His own name was given by his parents by that charector's influence, yet it was OK to say that in an open stage in front of the staunchest Hindus. More importantly, many top leaders of RSS tried to explain his statement and we were absolutely ok to accept that what we address as maryada purushottam Ram was wrong.

Muzammil Ji is always a pleasure to hear speak. I find it so exciting to engage with someone who applies western philosophy to South Asian cultures. I know it is weird but even like the way it sounds in Urdu or Punjabi!! You give me hope for English culture as well which is no small thing!

We are fortunate to have a young person with a very high calibre of thoughts. I suggest to make it part of education curriculum, federal as well as provincial.
In India I thank God there is South India where systems exists and most follow.I was in Pakistan in 2006 and the excuse was the test match.The most pertinent point was put by my host who told me that the Pakistan I might have in my mind exists beyond Lahore and Lahore is Lahore not Pakistan.

It’s my personal experience- when you have been depressed/sad all the time, one can’t embrace even lil but of happiness.
The argument ‘rationality over free choice’ is very tricky when you consider ‘rationality’ in this equation is itself very subjective. I mean rationality itself is built on certain axioms or predefined framework ( that it why rationality is not timeless and geo less) so how do you decide which ‘rationality’ is fine to be exercised over free choice and which not?
I think it depends on obvious facts being used as a medium to realize what's beneficial or not based on the current knowledge we've gained as a society.
It's not hard to consider what's safe and what isn't when multiple people join together and compare facts at hand to derive something that is rational by putting emotional bias on the sides.
Moreover rationality is somewhat individualized, because it depends on someone's collective experience and thoughts.
