Yeah, because the drum parts are monotonous AF. Simon executed it perfectly and all but Nile drums always sound the same, with the same rolls etc. It's very fast and difficult to play, i understand that but it's so boring to listen to.

The first time I heard was in the song The Victorious Reign from Hate Eternal. It is around 2 minutes. This song was released in 2005, two years before The Essential Salts. Derek Roddy and George Kollias, it seems that great minds think alike.

I played with a drummer a lot of years ago who actually had 2 snare drumms in a song we did.
One for blast and one for another beat. Pretty cool.

Welcome to the internet where anyone can have an opinion and if you dont like it you can go somewhere else with your butthurt.
@@ChemoTherapy87 I hate the triggers are cheating comment because it's very ignorant. Yes you could use triggers to cheat but it would make it so much harder to make any mistakes (when upping the sensitivity too much) or make it so you register two hits instead of 1 but then you would have to completely learn how to play the song so it sounds normal.. so No it is really stupid and ignorant to say that. and about no groove... well it has a lot of groove just not the kind they like....
