The day I saw that viral video of her blocking that one player with one hand while holding a shoe with the other followed by her feud with Caitlin Clark is what got me hooked on women basketball. Something special is happening and I hope they both make it big in the league specially a time when the women league is in dire need of stars that have their own personalities to draw attention to the game.
Angel Reese is a winner. She has won everywhere shes been. Angel Reese is a hugh reason women's bball has grown in popularity. They can call her a villian all they want. She's competitive and plays to win.

As a LSU fan since high school, I remember being looked at by the SEC as the bottom of the barrel…( the Lady Vols ran it😂😂😂and no, Dawn Staley and her dominance wasn’t here yet🤷🏾😫)We excelled (and won rings) in everything but bball…😢 but last year was…. Idk… can’t explain it. I can’t give all of the credit to Angel cuz the WHOLE TEAM ran thru that tournament (with a little luck😮) but when I tried to tell ppl how good it was and to keep watching…they wouldn’t. Free game basketball is a small community you start off playing AAU basketball, you travel everywhere and play, someone's on court and off court persona maybe completely different. Then you may not catch all the taunts and trash talk, someone may chirp in earlier in the game, then if you may chirp or taunt back in the end. Or just point to the score board, then you may text the person after the game, what are you doing this weekend. Once the game is over so everything else, unless you got personal.

Then, if we are to accept all the antics, Angel Reese does pulling opposing players hair out and getting up in players faces making hand gestures at them on the court and so on. That used be called taunting and a penalty. We give her a pass and say it's her toughness and it's who she is. No, she has to accept the fact that she can't do that and it's a penalty.
