"I’ll set the scene.
I’m sitting in an airplane stuck at the stand in Madrid airport, bound for Montreux via Geneva.
There’s an ominous storm. Thunder and lightning, we cannot take off. I sit in my seat waiting, I am wretched. Torn from the events of the day before, the tears are piercing my skin like icicles. Again, I am at one with the elements only this time my heart has been shattered into a million fractured pieces, never to return to who I was. I started writing words upon words, they poured out of me like a meteor striking the earth. A tale of betrayal. It’s all in the lyrics.”

It takes a strong, inspirational woman to bare her heart and soul publically to the world. This song is a testimony of a beautiful lady's life and love given to someone who was undeserving of it. It shows me also how strong a lady you were/are without even realising it especially when all this pain was so raw.
It spoke to me in ways you will never know. You are back, you are strong, you are inspiring, you are unique, you are beautiful even though at times you probably questioned that too because of " The Scorpion " but i am here to tell you that YOU and your children are the winners here, the Scorpion has lost his sting and a most precious gem has been reborn, a pearl created.

Sharon is opening her heart here, I got really emotional looking at her face in the video, this is not easy, specially for a discrete person like her, really brave and may help people in her situation. Not everyone can transform emotions like this into a creative tallent art.

Not knowing the story does everyone know for fact that her ex. did something terrible. I am not saying he didn't. I just don't keep up with that kind of thing so I find it less accessible to feel the lyrics.

I think the Corrs 2 day concert in the Philippines sold out in just matter of days. Waiting for October to come. Hopefully it could be followed up in 2024. Next time choose the Mall of Asia Arena or the bigger Philippine Arena. You guys can probably fill it up base on how fast the Araneta Coliseum got sold out for a 2 day concert.

No holds barred lyrics and you can feel the anger from the other side of the universe. Minor criticism..... Sharon’s smiles on the video don’t really match the lyrical message although I guess maybe she’s had the catharsis and her resultant new beginning might give cause for that more optimistic outlook? I wish Sharon all the best; stupendous talent and she richly deserves to find happiness again.
Brilliant Song; heartache has released Sharon Corr from the burden of sickly-sweet "oirishy" lyrics. In the act of leaving her Bonnar has assisted in the creation of a much more interesting artist who is not prepared to forgive and forget and lays bare the hurt infidelity and separation can cause. This did not get a lot of airplay in Ireland since its release; that needs to be corrected.
The video feels so disconnected to the song.
Safe to say the song is a lot better than this video is.
Perhaps the video is an apt projection of her deeper mental state.
