Ruby Franke is now blaming her co-defendant and business partner, Jodi Hildebrandt, for leading her astray and allegedly influencing her to commit twisted acts against her own family. By far, the worst thing she did was accuse her youngest 2 children of m0lesting 20 other neighborhood children and younger relatives to the police after her arrest.

She needs to face serious consequences for her POST-ARREST ACCUSATIONS which are infinitely more damaging than anything she did prior to her arrest.
If I was Ruby’s ex-husband my first responsibility as a father is to file a defamation lawsuit against Ruby and get the record straight PUBLICLY about the post-arrest statements and accusations against her own children.
She needs to publicly retract her statements for the record and they need to be made OFFICIAL in court proceedings.
Its ironic to me that what she did after the arrest is INFINITELY WORSE than what she did before she went behind bars.

I am sorry for both of you (@TheKrispyfor and @thereisnonin). I was far from being a perfect Mom, but my kid never got hungry, was never terrified of me, always knew that I would never lay a hand on her, that she was safe at home. Also, I always told her that the place where we lived was home for the 3 of us (my kid, my husband and me), and that it would never change. Still true even if she 34 and have 2 kids!

Just because Ruby let Jodi lead her around by the nose does NOT in any way absolve her of guilt. Far from it. It was her job, as a mother, to protect her children. If parents could get off by just laying blame on whatever theory of child-rearing they happened to use, a lot of kids would be dead. See, Bill Goddard. Moreover, if she is pleading guilty, she is GUILTY. She can't claim otherwise.

Judge won't fall for it unless she gets a corrupt judge. Most judges won't take a guilty plea unless the defendant actually admits guilt.

Ruby is claiming to be the victim of the EXACT things that she did to her own children for their entire lives. RUBY IS NO VICTIM. She simply found an accomplice to join in with her. A deal solidifies responsibility. The deal is she agrees that she is guilty on all charges and gets a sentence that is set by the judge. It spares little children from having to testify in a lengthy trial about their traumatizing experience. A deal is best for everyone and doesNOT absolve her of responsijility

It is most likely the church is behind this deal. Also, I bet soon enough Jodi will plea guilty as well. There are so many scandals coming from this church, it is unbelievable. They should worry about their image.
My 20 year old daughter just said she (Franke) is trying to get out of the charges. Her favorite saying is "Everyone has a brain." Meaning that Franke didn't have to follow what she was told to do by Jodi. She could have said no, take the kids out of the environment, reported Jodi, etc. There should be no guilty plea deal.

It wasn't until AFTER Kevin and Ruby separated, that all of this went down. And it was Jodi Hildebrandt who convinced them to split up... they were ADVISED by Jodi Hildebrandt that in order to save their marriage, they had to be separate, and Kevin was to have NO contact with his children. It was a set-up to isolate him from them. Jodi Hildebrandt has a psychological issue against men, herself, and she manipulates women to turn against their husbands. This is consistent not only with the Frankes, but has occurred in NUMEROUS clients that Jodi has 'counseled'. She's the true narcissist, and Ruby Franke is a victim of that narcissism. Ruby is at least realizing that now, and is willing to accept her responsibility in these acts. I was in a similar situation with my ex-husband... he is also a narcissist. And I realized that if I remained with him, I would either end up in prison, serving time for murdering him, or would be six feet under, myself. Neither option was viable to me, so I figured out a way to get away from him, permanently.

If it was all Jodi and all Connections, then why did her oldest daughter cut contact as soon as she was old enough? And so is delayed justice. Plea deals are meant to avoid dragging cases long enough and depriving victims from quick justice. In a case like this she will always be known for what she did so whatever the results of the plea is might be enough for the society to move on.

That one clip of her in the bathroom taking more than a hour while her husband and daughter waiting when then needed to take the child to the hospital was evil. Smiling and grinning while she came up with more delays made me furious. Can't blame that crap on Jodi. I wouldn't let that woman near children ever again.

In August i got a call, that my youngest had an accident and was taken to the ER by my husband. It took me 5 minutes to get out of the door. I did not get myself "ready" i could not care less about my looks. I grabbed my sons favorite things (stuffed animal, books...) a water bottle and a snack.

If a grown adult is that easily talked into doing harmful criminal activity against minors for prolonged periods of time, they are an active danger to themselves and others and do not belong in society. There's been no allegations of force against Ruby from Jodi - just influence. Force seemed to be reserved for the children, who were already powerless and praying for god's help to survive at age 6.
The fact that this monster is being offered a plea deal exemplifies the fault in our justice system. She should be put behind bars for the rest of her life for the damage her children will spend the rest of their lives trying to get past.

That's exactly wrong. Without plea deals, we wouldn't have a court system, which would collapse under the weight. Rube Franke is hardly a threat to anyone when she is 60 years old and her youngest 25, and that is doubly true if the courts offer each of her children the option of a lifetime order of protection. Save life sentences for those who are ongoing threats to society.

Uh, no, Anasazi is a wilderness-survival therapy camp so of course he didn’t have a bed, he’s sleeping in a tent. And those “therapists” aren’t even required to have a high-school degree, anyone in charge is just called a “therapist” whether they’re actually qualified or not. Also, kids have straight up died at these camps, so I wouldn’t be modeling my parenting after what they do.

As a parent it would seem your highest duty is to protect, nurture and educate your children. Ruby abdicated and pursued an emotional affair, if not a full blown affair, with Jodi Hildebrandt.

Both the victims, and the neighbors the first victim escaped to, should file civil suits against these women immediately, without delay, as well as anyone who knew it should have known, that crimes were being committed.

Although I am shocked she is turning on Jodi, it’s quite literally the only logical choice for her if she has any chance of getting a lighter sentence. I hope she stays in there for years until her kids are all adults AT LEAST.

The audacity of Ruby calling herself a “Mental fitness trainer“ when she herself is mentally unfit and unqualified to raise her own family, let alone advise anyone else’s family. The fact that Ruby is stating that she will help facilitate the reunification of her children should not be a surprise. She stated in various ways that she did not enjoy being a mother. Her behavior shows that motherhood is not her cup of tea.

Those therapists and psychologists should have their license revoked if it's true they let kids sleep on the hard ground and not even a mattress. Let alone a bed. I suspect the "therapists and mental health professionals" Ruby is referring to is actually one person: Jodi Hildebrandt. When that video was made, Hildebrandt had been in contact with the Frankes for some time and she had already started working on destroying them from the inside out, with Ruby's help.
Taking children's basic needs away and calling them "privileges" seems to be a classic Hildebrandt tactic; watch enough videos on this case and you will see people writing about how Jodi destroyed their relationships and some of those incidents are people describing her turning their parents into abusers while they followed her teachings.
@@brandonwilliams4050 Kevin agreed to all of it, he is as much to blame as her! Who agrees to not see or ask about or talk to their children for a year? He wouldn't have been in contact then if Ruby wouldn't have been in trouble!
Not giving Christmas gifts to her two youngest and making them watch the others open gifts happened before Jodi came along. I hope Kevin is aware of how much was wrong, especially with the treatment of the two youngest, and makes better decisions as a parent. He probably will get the kids back.

I hope that the outcome dictates that she should have no contact with her children. And should the day come when she is allowed contact that it Has to be in the presence of the authority, whomever that might be. Her youngest son has always been so vulnerable since he was a little tiny boy because I watched it as I was a follower of their UA-cam channel. He was so impressionable, and so innocent, and so sweet that it sickens me to think what she has done to him. And we all know that he is willing to take on blame for things he had nothing to do with my heart goes out to that little boy. Sherry, the oldest daughter was more mother, to the little children than Ruby ever was. She in many ways reminds me of the mother that tortured her son, and caused his death at 15 years old, and was just convicted of murder.

I am so disgusted. She doesn’t deserve- no, she has done nothing to be given a plea deal. She is vile, cruel, and an insult to women and mothers. She needs to face the full consequences of her actions and sit in prison for a VERY long time. Anything less is an insult to her survivors- shame on Utah and it’s prosecutors if she gets off easy.

I can’t get over how much Ruby Franke and her husband threw away their entire life and that of their family to cause them all massive trauma, financial issues and destruction and it was 100% preventable. Cancer didn’t happen to this family, a house fire, a car accident, a flood, a disease… it was having everything and then saying “now I’m going to take it farther” and not listening when people were shouting for them to reflect and realize they were being abusive.

How involved in this was Kevin? I think it was really strange that he accused their older daughter of stealing, when she was simply picking her things up. He seems really off to me....
The niece, who is very articulate, said that Ruby was abusive long before meeting Jody. It made me wonder if Kevin also approved of harsh parenting rules.
