I watched a couple of your flights and was trying to figure out where you were. I grew up in Tempe, so The SRP canal was a clue but the north south alignment threw me. The saguaro cactus and terrain said it was outside Phx either west or south east. A trip to google earth showed me the way.
Is there a problem with the runway centerline? Why don’t you land on it? 😁 Sorry, my father used to ask me that question all the time. Love these videos. Super jealous! I’m thinking of getting one! More videos please!
I've been driving cars for 53 years so I just automatically tend to land on the right side of the line. LOL More practice is needed. I have accouple more vids on YT if you search my name
Thanks for the videos. Hopefully this coming fall winter (snowbird) in Arizona City I can make trip to Coolidge area and see you in person. How much area do you cover in the figure eight loop?
You're welcome to visit any time. I'm only able to be there on Sat. and Sun. So far the farthest that I flown is about 15 miles I think. I'll have to look at my other vids under Aerolite 103 to make sure.
Please if you will tell me where I can get a helmet that will work with my head phones, like yours,I've just bought one new in Dland Florida gonna fly it back to Tennessee
Hey Frankie, congrat on your purchase. The helmet that I have has the headphones built in not a separate piece. Maybe Dennis could loan you a helmet for your trip and you could ship it back after you get home.Just a thought.
Hello Bob, Bob here. Fill us in on how you like the aerolite 103. With all the ones ive looked at on the net iam really liking what i see with this. Did you have training before you flew ? Is it as easy to fly as it looks ? I live in pa. and iam trying to get some local interest in our area for the sport. Great video, looks like your doing great ! Keep it up ! LOL Thanks.
Hey Bob, I really like the Aerolite 103 a lot. I had about 5 hours of training in a WS trike and decided that I would rather have a 3 axis plane instead. I found it easy to fly after spending many hours on YT to gain more insight combined with over 30 years of flying RC planes and quads. I wasn't sure if I would like the yoke instead of a stick but I find it works great. Landings (good ones) are my biggest challenge. Some how I managed to have 2 channels on YT so type my name in search for other vids
Thanks Bob, Been looking at these all day, they seem to be really well put together with the controls all in the right places. I come from years of rc flying also. lol It must be in our blood. I'am going to call them tomorrow to get a booklet to study more into this. What would you recommend beyond that ? Thanks.
@@bobudovich5613 If u call the factory talk to Dennis and tell him I sent u....it won't help anything but he might like to know that his customers are recommending him. If u are closer to Mich. than Fla. U could contact Rick at Hayesaero.com. He is a dealer for them.
Thanks for all your help. iam going to look into all this and ask more about them. Looks like you might make it to those hills I saw in a distant in your videos. Happy flying !
Looking good!!! Don't ya just love that feeling when you first go out onto the runway and start to roll....
Thanks Roger. Yeah, when I pull out and start to roll the butterflies go away and then the feeling of "Hey, I've got this".
Good one, keep going with the videos. New subscriber here.
Glad to see that the weather was cooperating and you had a chance to fly!
