I am so glad that one page did not ruin your coloring forever. I think we all have times that we have to just walk away and have a 'why am I doing this/ moment. You did get your mojo back and ended the month with really great pieces. Looking forward to your next completed series.

Thanks! Yeah, I realised the best thing to do was to just walk away for a little bit and let me 'get over' the upset. It is my process with most things. ❤🤓

Hi Sally just a quick comment ( 12:59 ) part way through - you could take pictures of the backs of the pages on your phone before you colour the fronts. Then you have an album of all the titles and individual colours for each image. 😸🌼

Yeah, but that seems like too much extra work! Sunlife does it right in the sense they have the list on the back and stick to the same number for the same colour, so you really only ever need to look at the back. Color Questopia is one company that changes the colour per number for each picture. It has annoyed me enough to the point I won't get any more of their books.

I really liked the blue grey and green grey pages, and the various bunnies 🐇🐇 I think you may need to try several times at least with the darker skin tones to ‘get your eye in’, so to speak. You are used to what pale skin pictures, and what colour combinations work on those. You just need a bit of experience to produce work you like. SBS are doing Blacksploitation movies right now, so that might help with the artistic eye- 70s’ style 😹😹 or raid Terry’s shelves 🙀😹😹🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛

I love the grey pages a lot, too. This may surprise you, but I'm not a movie buff at all. I can't sit through most of the movies T watches. Anything 'splotation does not interest me. I have my niche, but it is not anywhere near T or Damian level! 😺❤️

@@MiddleAgedGeekGrrrl There is one in the group with a female lead character - that was the one I was thinking of - Coffy . Another would be Cleopatra Jones. Alternatively, there is Death in Paradise - we would recommend everything except the last few seasons - started with Ben Miller, then Kris Marshall (son from My Family), then Ardal O’Hanlon (My Hero, Father Ted), all comedians and actors we enjoy. Latest bloke very much not so. Also the ABC indigenous comedy series, such as Black Comedy. Feel free to ignore all this, of course. 😹
