I remember Moto3 top speed record is 273kmh at 2016/17 Australia GP!! Insane speed for 82kg bike!
Pure racing machine...gives plenty of manouverability for the best wheel to wheel battles in any motorsport
In "my days" during the 1970s there was 50cc, 125cc, 250cc and 500cc all two-stroke, not very sophisticated technically. It seems as if now, the Moto3 is closer to the former 500cc in speed than the Moto2 or, obviously MotoGP. The gains in every aspect, as far as the motorcycles, and broadcasting, with incredible camera angles in every imaginable position (except the tail camera, which I believe should be raised above the riders back so it sees the track ahead), the leaps have been unbelievable. And now, if Bagnaia takes the title this year it will be four different riders winning the last four seasons, something that hasn't happened in twenty years.

The people who think moto racing in the past was better must have gone senile. It is infinitely better now, than it was in the past, and it keeps getting better every year.
Key difference is by the time you get to Moto GP you either have be Spanish or Italian.

Two missing key differences here:
1) Excitement level: Moto3 usually has the most intense race in all three classes in most Grands Prix. Followed by MotoGP and Moto2.
2) Constructor-dominant Nicknames for each classes: MotoGP is known as "MotoDucati" while Moto2 is known as "MotoKalex". Moto3 on the other hand, has none due to all bikes in the said class being evenly matched.

Well to be clear in moto3 almost everybody uses ktm bikes but honda is also pretty fast
motogp should be motoJapan, since last ducati win is from 2007

Let’s be real the Ducati easily has over 300 bhp and have for a couple to few years, it’s reasonable to think everyone else is clustered slightly higher than 300 with Yamaha 10-15 bhp down.
every race type on the planet has something like this going on for balance purposes. To allow for more, Different types of engines and bike combinations. This is also why they have certain classes for twins only and such.

How does a WSBK Superbike compare to these?
As I far as I know, WSBK bikes are regular homologated Superbike models (meaning you can buy the bike 'freely') with plenty of enhancements. For example, Razgatlioglu's bike is a regular yamaha r1m you can buy in your dealer, but it has better components (suspension, brakes, wheels, etc), improved fuel mapping and is altered to be the lightest possible. MotoGP bikes, on the other hand, are specifically made for racing, they are not regular homologated bikes (meaning you can't find it on a dealer), they have straight up optimized everything including engine, which would not work for much time on the road, it's maintenance-heavy.

Left out most key differnce in my opinion like moto2 using ALL identical sealed engines that is a HUGE difference alone between compared to motogp each manufacturer building prototype engines totally seperate design compared to other manufacturers...
Why is moto2 front tires 125 vs motogp 120 width. That means moto2 has wider front tire. They have same rear sizes. But why does moto2 have a wider front tire? Anyone? Thanks

I think by the time a rider reaches the level of GP from whatever feeder series into GP, & having been on a 250 for years prior, in Moto3, a 250 is really under powered, especially for normal size guys, 5'8"+. They should be on completely new 500 twins in Moto3. I don't like the points system either. It permits luck to effect the outcome of championships. A prime example is 2006.

I remember hearing when the Moto2 bikes used the 600cc Honda engines that they were very basic. A Moto3 bike is more advanced. The Moto2 bikes were basically a Honda CBR.
