Hey man can I ask for clarification on the strat you mentioned at 17:00? I can't seem to get the same behavior as you. Should I start mashing quicksave first and then hold down or do both at the same time or something else? I'm running the enhanced edition of the game which by default loads up with the resolution set to 1080 x 1200 (I believe) so maybe that has something to do with it? Idk I just haven't been able to get James to move more than 2 steps away after the fade-in. Here in this run you had almost had him around the hedge and if you look at Aaron's most recent Any% run he's like 1 step away from the apartment door when he does it. For that matter I also can't seem to do the fade-out/pause strat at the coin puzzle. I'm mashing the start button on my controller after using one of the coins and just nothing happens, I still seem to have to watch the full fade-out and wait for the camera to reset. Please let me know if you can tell what I'm doing wrong based on my description. In any case even if you can't help I just wanted to say thanks for always being pleasant and entertaining to watch, you inspired me to try Kuon and Haunting Ground, cheers and have a good turkey week!
I tend to mash both quick save and text confirm since that is what bugs out the text early. I usually get around the hedge myself but you can potentially hit the door. For the coin after insert you need to hit cancel/insert and during the fade out press start
Been binging a lot of your videos lately. No offense meant, but is there a backstory to your name? When I first came across it kinda sounded like a medical condition if Im honest. But ive gotten used to it as I watch you more. Anyway, big fan so keep it up.
