I may have struck a nerve with some viewers by not stressing how much of a GRIND it is to get some of these champions. Apologies! My intention was to have some fun ranking the "reward" champs you get in the game (daily log-ins, etc) -- will be sure to include that disclaimer in the future. Thanks for watching!
It's okay. I am one of them, mainly because even if I'm already at level 97 i still can't get Lydia, or any hard DT leggi, let alone that "free" mythical
No, most of us understand there is pretty much nothing in this game that isn't a grind. It's just the varying degrees of grind that can cause frustration and Ash-Bashing comments.
Some of it is like a grinding stone to sharpen a knife, useful.
Some of it is like a fine espresso coffee-type grind, tedious, complicated, enjoyable in the end - if a bit bitter on the finish.
But way too much of it is a 100-mile-an-hour road rash kind of grind.

I took a very long break from raid and only recently just got back into it. Can’t stress how entertaining and helpful your videos can be to not only new players but returning players as well. Keep up the good work!
Yannaica was my first legendary champion from a scared shard years before they put her in the shop

Given that Arix can solo stage 10 of Hard Spider in a minute and five seconds, with food (Nub Raids latest video shows it) she might need to be a little higher on the list. Admittedly end game build.
I'm currently working towards the Arix and Deliana duo, it's an easier build.

Id say Lydia 1 and mithrala 2 because lydia brings more useful buffs and debuffs. (Im also biased coz i pulled a 6 star soul for lydia)😂
Edit : also i use both of them along with seer coz they both bring unique buffs for her. And for the boss ,lydias poison sensitivity and mithralas a1 work super well.
Visix is so good in Hydra. I’ve got a ton of champs and she consistently boosts my numbers (granted I’m still free to play, but I’ve got some really end game champs). Great list!

Hey Ash, great list highlighting some of the champions I have.
I have an idea for a video; rathalos set on champions vs spider with the aoe damage fills turn meter. I currently have 4 pieces on Royal Guard and he slaps. Other aoe damage champions like Bellower and all the rest out of my reach may do even better than him. Hopefully you see this 👍🏻

Personally, I think Scyl is better than Visix by a good margin. Both are great, but Scyl is soooo GOOD! Auto heal, even when stunned, frozen, asleep, etc. It's just so great in a Relentless set! Wait . . . I got to the end, and Yakarl the Scourge wasn't anywhere on the list? He is a beast! I much prefer him to Yannica, so I assumed he would be higher than her. His insane freezing abilities are awesome by themselves, but the ability to steal 100% turn meter is sick! I have him in Relentless as well, and it makes for a freezingly cold party! Wow, can't believe he didn't make the list.
I'm the same as you( no frnds no cronham) but i do have ninja so no worries in boss slaying
Ash, dude, Crohnam is dope. Love that guy. I had to grind out all of those accounts on my own using synced instances of Bluestacks. Total pain in the ass, but it was worthwhile.

Love the freebies especially when I pull them from shards, and now have a +4 cleo with another 2. Also ash you should totally build drexthar in a nuke build I use him in live arena as a secret nuker

i have a question how someone can have 2 monkey kings when you can't pull him out of shards because in arena someone has 2 of him so a little confused on how it's possible they got 2 of him
It didn't specify that you can't summon him, he's not even a collab champion like Ronda, Ninja and Rathalos
So yes, you can have 2 since he's available in the shard poll.
Ash actually summoned him in one of his shard pull videos some time ago. I think he was opening mythical shards
I know kalvalax (legendary knight revenant) is not a free champ... But i recently got him a he feels very useless... His abilities dont feel that good... Feels like he is only useful in the dragon dungeon.. How would u go about building him?? And what teams would u put him in??
Visix is dope as hell. I used her for my arena team for a bit for control.
Got drex from a sacred a few months ago. Dude was a cornerstone champ in my clanboss team. Actually did ok damage.

Man, Mithrala Lifebane, now looking back, was the biggest game-changing Champion for my account. There's a few places where I don't use her simply because I want to utilize more Champions in my Collection.

Mithrala unquestionably #1 for me, but then I'm tossing up between Lydia, Arbiter and Visix. Some of these champions realistically 95%+ of the playerbase will never get, and while Visix does come a little late ini the day for an actively played account she is, for me, the best Doom Tower champion in the game for progression (i.e. I'm not talking about when you get to the stage where you can just blast all the floors with a pure damage team). Even now, when I do have an efficient DT Hard team, I still sometimes do floors with my favourite Visix team just because I love that CC-play style and she excels at it like (almost) no other champion, plus she's great for me in Hydra too.
Urost I have only ever used on the last rotation of Amius Hard, where he did work, to be fair. Dark Kael I like, Yannica was my first ever legendary, 3 years ago, well before she was free. Yakarl is actually someone I have used more than I expected too - Dark Fae he's great and he was in my FK Hard team until this week.

Karnage could be really good depending on his multipliers. His second form has a base attack of almost 2000, which to my knowledge is the highest base attack in the game
Missing yakarl dude is top 5 for sure, using him everywhere FK, FK hard, doomtower, dark fae, live arena
lydia's revival in arena is underrated
8:34 of COURSE you put Scyl at 10, cause she IS a 10! Lol
It is like splitting hairs on this list. However, I feel Urost is too high. Also, Cronham is way too high. He's probably more like 15th. I keep using him and then a few weeks later, I move him back to the vault because there are better solutions.
I feel like Helmut would be better in Dark Kael's spot for the same discussion you had between Scyl and Visix. By the time you've gotten Kael you should have most boss fights figured out (you'll have had to beat DT normal at least a few times so you've probably also beat hard by then, too). Helmut gets value so much sooner 😁
You're forgetting how good Dark Kael is in Clan Boss. You can't say that about Archmage

Fun fact : Kaja can revive through Lydia's passive!!! Only the first champion, in the order is denied revival... Everyone else will revive 🙃
That should be a bug, it would be stupid if she's the only one to bypass her Passive when every revivor gets blocked
I was prepared to pull Lydia and Mikage last PR CvC but by the time I’d gotten the watcher and tatsu 60 we were getting blown out of the water so I didn’t see it worth it. Needless too say the two have been burning a hole in my pocket for the last three weeks.
I forgot about Arix. I need more knights rev for my faction wars. Thanks dude, I’ll start building her.

I dont have Lydia yet, but im very close. I have to finish stage 21 on Shadowkin, Sacred Order and Knights Revenant. Cant keep my teams alive against the bosses. Shadowkin is the worst one though. If I had Lady Mikage, id probably be able to beat it. Im missing one champion. Been begging the raid gods to give me Confessor, or Weregren Suncursed. Then Id be able to build him and be able to fuse Lady Mikage.
Arix is beyond op I built her in a provoke set after watching your vid on her she has crazy control she’s a tank and dose crazy damage use her in hydra arena and just everywhere she’s op for me as a lvl 60

An insane number of champions seem OP when you are at level 60. Your opinions will change as you progress.
I think I like Lydia a little more than MIthrala and I haven't fused or used Mikage yet, but its a good list overall. I'm just now on Urost and Dark Kael and should have them in 1 or 2 more rotations. I guess you left the 7 day log in guys off and maybe mentioned that?
You should've probably put high khatun at 15 instead of quintus because of how valuable she is for the early to mid game and how she is even still good in the mid to late game. I don't have quintus and don't see any motivation to try and grind live arena for a disappointing champ!

Sadly I got rid of Visix back when she was craptastic and I wish I had kept her. Come to think of it there's a lot of leggos I got rid of that I wish I had back because they are good now.
Lysandra+pythion+demythia+arix(taunt set)+(skullcrusher/vlad/mithtrala) .... helps me to deal with doom tower hard 111 to119 ... i feel amused especially clearing the stage which have 2 MortuMocabs lol
Hard to believe you do not have Crohnam yet. I could help you with one spot for him if you are interested. Takes about a month to get an account to level 50 with daily grinding ( level 40 only a week). I have seen people stall out around week 2 with the grind, as it is boring. But RSL Helper makes it easy, just have to multi task. The key is to focus on campaign farming, as that yields your quickest account levelling.
Honestly I'm torn... the grind is def not worth it considering I don't have the need for the champion (one one hand). On the other hand... I feel like I probably should get him for content purposes here on the YT channel...

Hard to compare the two, with them being so different.... but FWIW (probably not much) every online tier list has Scyl rated higher (Hades, etc). I do think that passive is very underrated on Scyl. Either way, they're both great IMO.

Arix can solo spider 10 hard under 1 minute with 4 food champs as shown by Nubs. I hope it's not too hard to get. you put her in a 4+ piece set of rathalos.

There is a backlash in this video because yakarl is missing, he is truly a void free champ except mithrala and Lydia because of freeze and when the turn meter of enemies are 75% or more it will become unresistable debuff😊😊😊
I could be wrong, but I have always pronounced Scyl of the Drakes as "Skill". She is one of my favorite champions in the entire game!

been playing for 3 yrs or so, and the majority of the champions I used is either a freebie or a fusion, I guess around 70% of the lego I used
My favorite shard pull is definitely Cardiel, Warden, Geo and Seer
My favorite Freebie or fusions is Gnut, Artak, Lydia, Mithrala, Visix, Helicath and Razelvarg
My account snowball really hard after going hard at Helicath Fusion since I'm still 6 months into the game at the time

I think a lot of people do not realize how good karnage will be he is by far the best champ in this category I think people will complain and will want him nerfed when he is released people complaining about taras damage karnage will make him look like a rare he will be that strong

Correct! She's actually a free log-in champion - it just takes a LONG time to get her. She's around the 700 day mark I want to say... And WOW, congrats on a true game-changer in Tuhanarak!

"By the time you get them, you don't really need them"....sums up just about most of them....easy fix (for the doom tower champs) would be for us to choose which ones we went for...plarium logic
Hey ASH maybe you could shzow us Urost in the arena.
I got both Lydia and Mithrala on the same day, built them as strong as I possibly could, and there are no words to describe how they changed my game. DT hard went from impossible to merely challenging, Dungeon runs became a lot quicker, PvP teams became a lot more versatile. These two are well worth the investment.
I don’t think there was any Daily Log ins? Probably a lot of mad viewers, no artsk, no Wukong…. 😂 but I’ll say this, with all the Palarium hate for being greedy, I use almost all these champs on the list except for 3-4 I don’t have yet. Not even including the daily log ins. So you can beat this game besides Platinum arena with just the champs you get for free. Maybe Palarium is kinder than they get credit for?
