Dude, I totally agree. There's a ton of champs I really could use, but I've been quite lucky in my pulls so far. I started 3 months ago. I have Venomage, Toragi the Frog, and Stag Knight. There are more but those have been amazing for me so far.
Awesome video! I feel it’s so much more informative as a whole compared to a “top epic champ” video. It forces you to discuss synergies, and that’s so important for players to consider rather than looking at a tier list to decide which champs to dump resources in. I learned a lot! Thank you both!

@ASH, Would you do a follow up video where you can review which epics are worth keeping duplicates. I'm FTP and my vault is nearly full because I have never discarded a single epic or lego.

This is a really good break down on decent and good champs for faction wars. So many champs were chosen or mentioned that i have but dont use. Trying to progress in faction wars rn
I much prefer long form videos. This was perfect and very interesting. I do have one enormous critique. When you reached Lizardmen you were saying there weren't any must have champions and then went meh and chose Venomage. Venomage is probably my favorite champion that I've pulled so far and I'm offended lol I think you're sleeping on how useful aoe 100% heal reduc + 15% attack down + 2 poisons on one ability is. 🤣 then she's also bringing a solid boss ability in her a2 with attack and defense down. Her popping poisons is okay and reducing max HP isn't all that much to write home about but her kit is amazing overall.
i really like these collabs that last a good long hour. hope to see more of this style/length of content from you.

I don't know if he's a "top tier" epic, but I took him to 50 so far and do not regret it... Vergis, High Elf defense. I outfitted this guy in heavy DEF/HP gear and a regeneration set... he's almost unkillable unless he gets a huge hit against him. I was stuck on Brutal campaigns, but now him and Rhonda are an unstoppable force... he self shield + self regen stacked with the regeneration set keeps him near full life, while Rhonda in Lifesteal gear + the regen effect cast by Vergis keeps her near full too. On the Arena side of things, I've gotten into some fights where 3 opponent champs couldn't kill him, I had to end battle 3 times last night due to stale-mates between Vergis and the enemy defense. I love this guy! Useful for me even in CB, as he can help keep my more squishy hero's alive.
How did you skip ornn in sylvan watchers? 2 double hitters, poison sensitivity, poison pop and heals a ton.
Excellent info, as usual, and it's great to see both sides/opinions. I needed this as I am lost as to where to take some Epics and which are even viable or worth the investment. Off to YST's channel to check his out too.
I would Love to see each of you take these champion teams and build them out, explain reason for builds and comps, run them, and compare your comps and times, with each other, in each area of the game.

I thoroughly enjoyed this! I like the "drafting" type video. It's fun watching you guys tease each other when one of you snipes a champion the other would pick. Hope to see more of this kind of thing!
I love the draft format. I such a fantasy draft with multiple content creators and then part 2 is a battle arena tournament with the championship battle shown. Alternatively could show a couple of other competitions for best gear farmed in a week using the teams or beat power rating among the various teams
currently building skeuramis good to know he is worth the effort.
Fun video guys! I LOVE using a really fast Magnarr against those countless arena teams using that annoying Ultimate Death Knight - Magnarr knocks him out before he even gets a turn and I love it!
I love hearing about the different choices and similarities versus the dissimilarities in reasoning for your choices.
After the buff to alika's aoe that puts all enemy skills in a 2 turn cooldown and considering her insane dmg in all her abilities she is insane. Easily my top dmg dealer from all the epics. Ofc anax is better for clan boss but yeah.
Nice collab. I like the draft format because it is more realistic for the average player, who must make hard choices as to what champions they max out for the teams they are building. Very helpful because there are so many good champions it is hard to know who to invest in unless you know what you need for different areas of the game. Fun.

39:32 please, maybe that ability is similar but Gorgorab is literally a mini arbiter. speed in arena aura, revive, increase attack and turn meter. Gorg has remove buffs on a1, arb has reduce buff duration on a2. Arbiter is just slightly better in most ways but their kits are near identical, not Jorrg.
I'm thinking the stun mechanic will be something important in the coming acccesories ascension dungeon. The release of stun mechanic champs, the fact that the Plarium Sands Casino boss is sleep (first boss where sleep is important), and finally that no dungeon boss in the game currently can be stunned. Stun is the only champ mechanic that remains useless against any dungeon boss in the game, as far as I can remember.

Speaking of competition and making "team", maybe you and YST can consider battling using the EPics you have chosen in this video in various part of the game? It is taking a playbook from DWJ's events - Affinity, but this is between you and YST based on the EPIC you have chosen, so you now got to represent!

That would be in a parallel universe, where raid players can decide which champs to pull instead of being fully dependent on NRG.

Pulled Taggart about 2 weeks ago, was about to feed him to max out Ursala..... then I read his kit. Needless to say he's on my list of 6 stars to do.

man the day i pulled tagoar , DONT sleep on him , he's absolutely a beast. i can fairly say such a strong strong support , tanky , fast , reviver 2x , and that increase def on A1 is usefull, and that A2 is his golden one , that heal and speed buff is just OP , his heal is massive on a 3 turn cd with a aoe atk as an xtra cherry on the cake , hands down one of the best tank support and a tank man , i putted him in bolster gear , he's a freaking tank that keeps healing and buffing and the 2x champ revive is just to lick your fingers off !
With Cornelia I have loved using this champ for awhile now because I got a 5 star soul and she is amazing for sand devil, faction wars and many more places

NGL, I was hoping someone would pick Scabrius for Skinwalkers. He's pretty underrated, and I just have a soft spot for the rat bastard ❤️
I had so many people tell me woad was useless, but I have found her healing is so epic and she is usually my top damage getter, the amount of 1 hit kills her a3 and her reflex damage has killed many.

Personally, from the BArbarians faction I feel like Valla is awesome. Buff up her DEF for a strong attack, shields and she's very difficult to kill.
She's a solid part of my team still and often the last woman standing.
Feel Valla is very underrated.

I love steelskull too. I agree it's not up to date with the Champs dropping but I got him early on and he helped me soooo much in the first year of the game. I still use him in faction crypts but he really hooked me up in the beginning.

Thats an idea for PVP Draft Event t looks like pretty smart like an arena tag team in a tournament once per week and all the same level
Tramaria has also a booked 100 percent stun if booked. But i dpnt give her books,just too weak elswhere.But 100 percent is reslly top for spiders,because with 75 percent, mostly there are spiderlings left and the benefit is Not this huge then.for waves 75 percent is enouph.
I have Fayne bit how to use her.
She has one of the worst Def.

Duedan and Demytha... couple made in heaven. They will open Hydra for you and any other content easy. Cause they both extend and he will have counter-attack and anything else on him for 3-4-5 perma turns.

Eviscerator, yes the Void Rare, now the meta in arena, one shotting Duchess, and nuking rest of the team. Look at her Passive ;)
Don't forget you can put Mausoleum Mage in a Shield set speed tune him to just go ahead of Seer and he will by himself provide enough buffs to tear through the enemy waves even on DT hard :) Provided there is a Decrease Def out there

Most debuffers leave the buff but she and Kymar strip everything off

This champion is loaded with sigils. A sigil is an inscribed or painted symbol considered to have magical power. It is pronounced "sid-jul" so the hard 'I' sound is not there as it is in beguiled. And I know you are accustomed to being lambasted for your pronunciation of these names. But it still gets me every time you say this guy's name especially because you never pause one bit. Other names you acknowledged but not Giscard. (Pronounced GISH-urd) by the way. If not "gish" then "giss" but either way the 'C' is silent as in miscellaneous.
With those pronunciations in mind, listen to the flow of this champions name...

Stag is perfect for twins, even with his a2 turned off. Makes accuracy no more worry and constant spd dec.

I disagree with 3 ally counter epic champion list when we just had Morag in a fusion who is an epic with ally counters and strengthen.
It shouldn't be called Unkillable skill/buff, it should be called Tough to Kill, since there has to be a winner and loser in any battle area.
