Kokanee Fishing on Lake Stevens 6/18/2024

Managed to hit Lake Stevens for some pre-work Kokanee fishing this morning. Perfect conditions, nearly glassy.
Went 3 for 11…not ideal, but fun. The fish are really quite small. I found my best luck with the Lured bead/blade lures coupled with moon jelly flashers (brads/paulina). 10-12" leaders. Baited with corn tuna.
Most fish were hooked at around 35 feet with a couple hooked shallow, flat lined at 70 feet back. 1.2 mph.
Bite slowed considerably as soon as the sun came over the hills and hit the water.
In short, it's good fishing on Stevens right now. Low pressure from other boats as well.

Might need to change the hooks. Try gami drop shot/split shot. I live a mile from the dock, hope to see you out there sometime! Thanks for the video!

Yeah, I think the hooks are the problem.
