Sadly, by then, I had been fixated on Halo: Combat Evolved and that's what sold me on Xbox vs. a GameCube or Playstation console; but I grew up playing on each and appreciating each for what they were. Oh, yes. My love of the Halo Universe started in 2001 when my friend introduced me to it at his house. Up until then, I only had my N64, so when I saw those graphics and how immersive it not only looked, but felt, I was hooked. Since then, I've read many of the books (I highly recommend them if you've never read them: I usually tell people to start with Contact Harvest). I could go on for literal hours about Halo and its extended universe and what works and what doesn't (looking at you Paramount series), but I don't want to flood your comments section with my ramblings. : ) @@ObsidianASMR2022
Its a shame I didnt get to experience the game cube. Alot of games seem cool on it. My favorite console growing up was the Wii. I swear there never was such a thing as a bad Wii game. 😂
If you ever get the chance; go back and play some of them! I’m pretty sure the Switch is starting to get some old N64 and Game Cube titles added to the online store 😄 Obsidian x
