    I find that in watching Bromley's videos I grow as a lifter but also _as a man._
    This channel is the only one I know of that reminds viewers that the reason why we set these goals in the first place is to live happily with and for the people we love.
    While I respected the Bromley who tried to be the best lifter he could be, I am repeatedly and consistently *_impressed_* by the Bromley who's trying to be the best father and husband he can be

    I been on vertical for years, I just discovered Justin and DC in the passed few months, Project super heavy weight is the most inspirational thing I've ever seen, I got a hernia so I'm getting ready for surgery, I'm stocked to recover from this so I can take my training more seriously.

    You should just hire a nutrition coach, like Justin Harris, and work with them for a year or two. Having that accountability and access to their knowledge is huge, hiring a nutrition coach was the best move I ever made.

    Good work dude. A proper breakdown of the rebuild phase. That pregnancy/newborn stage is rough, getting your work in and dieting on top of it is a good grind. I used some of your ideas to work my training around my first kid and it was super handy.

    Not having to argue over what to eat is so damn worth it as well as actually being able to keep the fridge stocked properly. Too often time is wasted arguing over dinner then you decide on something only to find that you've ran out of a key ingredient already.

    OK, great minds think alike! I just finished a run through 70's Powerlifter on a dirty bulk, and while I was pleased with the numbers I put up (deadlifted 500 pounds for the first time at almost 40 years old), I did gain more pudge than I wanted. I've now started another turn at 70's PL, using the Base phase as a 9-week cut, trying to lose about 0.5% bodyweight per week (down 10 pounds in 3 weeks, so far so good). I figure I'll switch to either maintenance or a very small surplus for the Peak phase. I'll be excited to see what happens in both our cases, just glad to know I wasn't crazy for trying to cut fat on a high-volume program like this. Thanks, Bromley!

      Fair warning, you might end up cutting 100 lbs off your deadlift if you run 70s during a weight cut. Like week 4-5 it might hit you in the recovery

    After doing your diet for a while Id highly recommend using something like cronometer to build your own and get an idea of macronutrients. And if you want a more user friendly calorie tracker MacroFactor was the best a year ago. Eventually you wont need to update up your diet plan much as youll be able to do it on the fly.
    And youll be forced to hold yourself accountable as youll know what youre eating.
    And making sure your nutrition and micronutrients dont have any holes will make overeating far less of an issue. Thats why pulling a days meal in crono will make sure you arent missing anything important
    Im sure you know but Thonas Delauers has to be my first recommendation as hes easy to consume and can learn over time with his content
    Side comment, idk how youve been surviving on 150g of protein at your size brother! Getting in my protein then fiber helps most with overeating.

    I'm on low to no carb year round. The next time you cycle off consider eating some pork skins. I normally get the crushed up ones, and make a cereal for dinner to go with my magnesium supplement.
    On top of being a great source of glycine they are very readily gluconeogenic, but as with any protein, the sugar made from it goes into the blood in a controlled fashion, so it won't blow up your ha1c. As long as you are not already diabetic, or metabolically dysfunctional.
    When you cycle back on you will still be sensitive to the carbs again.
    Nobody who lifts, and does low carb is going to perform well without also upping the protein I think in the video you said your protein was at 150. You outweigh me by about 75 pounds, and I'm eating 210 to 280.

      Scientific method is literally to conduct an experiment en masse and record those results so I dunno what you on about. Most people have never even heard of that guy and you cannot test everything unless more resources are put into ex.science. if you want more people trying more stuff you should be in favor of science not against it

      Easy peasy. Focus on fewer exercises, do a lot of sets, and really push effort on them. Pay special attention to progression, intentionally adding weight or trying to beat old amraps. You can go upper/lower and just alternate whenever you make it in, or try a whole body, doesn't really matter. Keep it to a few barbell movements.
