  • In this video lesson, Davy Mooney considers Henry Mancini's "Two For the Road," from the 1967 film of the same name. He pays special attention to Peggy Lee's 1967 version and Pat Metheny's masterful rendition from 1997's "Beyond the Missouri Sky."

I saw the movie in 1967 or so while in a military leave traveling in Rome. I’m 81 now and recall that I enjoyed the movie and that the theme song stuck with me as did Audrey Hepburn! I plan on watching the movie again to see if I’d still enjoy it. Thanks for covering this theme song. I look forward to working on my own version. I have a Mancini fake book that is very thick and heavy!! Thanks again.
