Listening for the 5th time in a row, nice tonality!!!!
Wow. That sounds really great. The micro sounds so huge with that reverb.
Great atmosphere and sounds!
Very nice! Not a fucking 2 hours of boring bullshit ! Like the atmosphere !
Incredible video! I love the MK sounds.
Some of the best sounds I've heard from the Microkorg! Beautiful composition too
Thank you! I have actually been listening to your albums on repeat. Huge fan of your work.
Awesome. favorite list 😊☺😊😄😊
Excellent! I need those patches
beautiful
Lovely ambiance and feel... really sets the tone. Looking forward to more and the progress on Denizen!
Thank you! I plan on posting more as production continues.
UTOPILO _ cool looks like its gonna be a good game too. Ill defo check it out when its released. Good luck mate
A brilliant mind.
love it
Good sounds choices just from this synth 👍🏻
Glad you like it!
Thankyou for your generosity in sharing what you do. Ghoast and Guy of Gisbourne are both inspiring video's to somebody like me who is discovering what the microkorg can do. I am not especially impressed with Denizen as i don't like guns but the music is impressive.
Very nice!
insane!
Very nice sound and composition !
I subbed.
Sweet!
This is awesome! Beautiful deep Aphex Twin / BoC vibes going on here !
loved the vibe. It would be awesome to learn from you!
Honestly I have been wanting to start posting tutorials but haven't gotten around to recording them. Hopeful one day!
Cool
dreamy
who said the microkorg is a toy? super lovely work!
Thank you I really love the microkorg :)
Great sounds! I'm looking into getting a microkorg VS a Minilogue, and this is an incredible demo. I'll even have to check out the game for this as well.
Are there any effects or reverb applied to this outside the micro itself?
Thank you! For effects I have an aux send and return to a Boss ME-25 multi effects pedal I use for various things such as delay, overdrive, and modulation. For the reverb I mostly use the built in reverb on the mixing board. The microkorg has a few built in effects such as a delay and a modulation section but I find that the delay is the only built in effect I use much.
Jonathan Fielder Thanks for the answer! Boss has some good pedals; I have an me-70 and love it for guitar. I'm glad to hear it works great for synths as well.
I've owned both and the micro has some richer capabilities but you just won't get there as fast. The biggest difference between the two is that the micro is semi modular - it has "virtual patching" and it's really what makes this synth so fun and why it is capable of getting really nice complex sounds that can evolve over time while the latch mode is on, freeing up your hands to do some knob tweeking. The two together would make an excellent set up. I have a few issues with the Minilogue but none with the Korg. I would also suggest looking into the Blofeld. For the price 499.99, there is nothing that can touch it.
Digs!!
nice one! I´m working on something like this too :-)
Awesome! The video quality is great too. Are you using any external fx?
I am routing it through my electro voice mixing board and using the built in spring reverb. From there I also have an aux send to a boss me - 25 guitar pedal and an sp 404 sx for additional effects such as distortion, delay, and tremolo.
I'm in love with this patch what settings? I just bought one and loving this
Hey The patches are custom programmed. I am currently working on a walk through tutorial on how to patch them so I will post a comment here when that goes up.
The patch video is now up! ua-cam.com/video/bpiewE8XZ98/v-deo.html
Very Beautiful and very well Played. Love the dark and Noisy Sound! :)
Im just trying to re-greated the noise Patch at 00:57 but i can‘t get it. It would be nice of you can send me a link of this patch.
Best greetings from Germany
Thank you so much! I have posted some patches here but I can't remember quite which ones I had posted back then. Unfortunately I have completely reset the microkorg a few times since this video so I don't have any patches from back then any longer. synthlib.com/user/jonathan-fielder
It is possible that one of the patches on this site is the one you are looking for though.
Omfg this is so beautiful! Just asking, did you use any guitar pedals in this because I'm really thinking of getting this synth without anything else as it's very affordable.
No pedals on this one. I used the reverb built into the mixer (The mixer had a spring reverb) and the delay built into the microkorg.
@@latchwork66 Nice! I think I'd put into a monotron delay to make it as chaotic as possible lol
@@latchwork66What mixer do you have?
@@raulacevedo-esteves9493 I used an electrovoice bk 1632 on this one. Unfortunately many of the faders have gone bad on it since then and I haven't gotten it repaired yet. Great sounding mixer though. The gain drives nice and the spring reverb is fantastic. Once I have the space I will definitely get the board serviced.
You made the sound/noise effects on the microkorg too?
Yes. :)
Wait. 4 hands? Incredible!!! 😉
pacht number????. great!!!!!!
Custom made patches. Here is a link to download them: synthlib.com/user/utopilo

I use the Korg R3, but I can replicate any Microkorg sound w/ correct patch settings?? :)
This is the correct link :)
