I can’t thank you enough Matt! I’ve been playing golf for 40 years and since I started watching and applying your extremely useful tips my game has improved and what is even better is I’m enjoying playing even more than I did 30 years ago! 👍😎🇦🇺
Hi Matt, in your lessons you really manage to present the setup and the swing in a clear and easy-to-understand way, thank you. I wish I could take you to a golf camp in Germany for 2 weeks. Please stay healthy, I look forward to your next lessons. Greetings olaf
Another great video Matt. Question- I live in Southern California and the fairway grass goes dormant in the winter leading to very tight lies. I seem to hit my irons well on courses with plenty of grass (or off a tee) but really struggle off the tight lies. Can you please do a video on how to adjust to hitting irons off of tight winter lies? Thanks!
Great content and informative coaching really like the content on the foot position my problem is I tend to pull my short irons to the right I’m a left handed golfer thinking I may have the ball to far forward but maybe the feet alignment may correct this cheers 🍻
Good idea with the stick in front but get it far enough that the ball is not hitting it ... they are cheap but will break and deflect the ball.... that has really helped me aligning my shots Thanks
Hi Matt - if I tilt to the right (slightly) I find that I tend to sway which results in chunks behind the ball. By focussing on keeping some weight on my left hand side I strike the ball better. Any thoughts on where my fault is or how to sort it out?
All golfers need to work on swing. I need to learn to fade the ball. Maybe sometime when u got time we can go through a correct way to do that. I draw or hook everything. Lol
Here’s my simple tip, I got Down to a 4 handicap, and I did that without hitting a long iron, don’t know why I couldn’t get a 3 iron airborne, I’d maybe hit one a year, but, from a 6 iron down, on the par fours, on the green 4/5 shots, my wedge game?, 100 yards in, it was gimme Putt, so, I’d say, work on the short game, drive for show, Putt for wim!
Matt are you in Dubai? I am sure I seen you today at the Meydan golf club . If you seen a big ugly scouse bloke staring at you it was me. If it wasn't you, you have a double here in Dubai.

Can’t get enough help thank you a bunch!
Great video Matt...loving the focus on transition through the lead leg....making a massive difference to my strike quality at the moment.
Glad it is helping!
Well done Matt yet another great video thanks

Nicely done, super clear. Can't wait to get out to the course now to try that out. Thanks Matt!

Love the vids Matt.
Can you do a series on approach chips -- somewhere between, say, 30-60 yards into the green? I struggle with that distance.
Been waiting for this video for almost a year. My iron game can always use help!
Good video. Great instruction. 👍🏌⛳😀
great lesson, Matt thanks very much!
Great video
Good video. I will be trying out some of these tips. Can only handle a few at a time. 😁

Should we be thinking about angle of attack or will the ball position do that for us?
Another top quality lesson for us. Thanks matt👌
Anytime Shane
Good lesson- on point with the long iron
Thanks pal
I oonderstand, Matt-thank you!

Great video. I know it’s not much to do with this video but how can I be confident hitting my driver?
Thanks Matt, that tilt tip on long irons is interesting and don't think I've heard that before? Just wish I could practice it lol
Eagle eagle finish. I just saw that yesterday. How rare is that !!!
Matt! Great video! spinning the tires to the range now to practice!!
Love it!!
Beautiful course
Is mega

The sway is the fault or your weight transfer in general. I like the staying slightly left sided approach with an iron
Another great video Matt!
Nice swig Matt
It’s okay, needs work 🧐

How are doing Matt over there?
I’m at home this was filmed a while ago.
I was alway taught P-8 were short irons, 7-5 were mid irons and 4 and above were long irons. Is that wrong?
Yeah could look at it in that way as well

At which club do you switch from your long iron swing to your short iron swing? Is it 8? 7?

No I'm at home, must be some other bald pale bloke 😂
'Floor'????? You mean ground. Thumbs down every single time you do that!
Bit extreme! Bit like hitting the floor before the ball
