For her Baby she is moving faster than normal sloths do. Amazing love.
That is what I noticed... wonderful exhibit of love.
WOAH WOAH WOAH!!! Let me get this perfectly straight: You comment something that is completely unrelated to the fact that I have two HAZARDOUSLY HANDSOME girlfriends? Considering that I am the unprettiest UA-camr worldwide, it is really incredible. Yet you did not mention it at all. I am VERY disappointed, dear ray
This is what parents are for their young ones
@@AxxLAfriku pretty weird way of advertising. I'm reporting your reply. It's a misunderstanding.
It is a shame that they are neat to extinguish! :(
Sloths apparently CAN move much faster than I realized, perhaps motivated by her baby's cries. They were both clearly relieved to be reunited.
The baby stopped crying right away, once it was reunited with mom. I thought the baby would scratch it's mom's eyes, but nope, once it got a little settled it took it's arm away from mom's eyes, and nicely repositioned itself. So cute.
The sloths were excellent hunters, they were just fucked by evolution
Probably took a lot for her to get to it so fast. I've certainly never seen one move that fast.
@@cfgodwell poor thing exhausted like all of her saved energy
Just for anyone saying the camera man should’ve helped, this is nature, the mom would’ve been stressed seeing a human with her baby, and she found the baby anyway :)
Yeah
I don't care, I would have given her her baby back. She would have just scooped it up and taken it up the tree. Easy peasy. Humans are the stewards of the earth. We have a responsibility to help creatures in need.
I wouldn’t have touched the sloth. Mama would have been worried or May of possibly rejected the baby.
@@saltycat662 No we don't, we are animals who think we're above and better then we are.
Never Ever interfere with nature or its cycle. Never touch a wild animal unless it is absolutely essential.
I had an incredible sloth interaction in costa rica last year! Was staying in this beachside shack place, and a monumental downpour started! A sloth, clearly trying to get a break from the onslaught, climbed up to the 2nd floor balcony and stayed with us for like 45 minutes! it let us get really up close to it, and we took some pictures and video. (We made sure not to do too much of that, literally 1-2 mins, so we didn't stress it out, though it seemed pretty chill with it anyway. then we just sat away from it with some beers and watched it. Was awesome.)
That's awesome!
Thank you for keeping distance and letting him take refuge. That's a beautiful memory
I'm jealous of your wonderful opportunity. I love sloths.
Now that’s a dream vacation
Wish that was me. My son plans to take me next year there's a reserve there that protects them. I can't wait
Such a good mama! She's likely not moved that fast in awhile.
💕💕💕💕💜💜💜💜💜💜💙💙💙💙💙
Theres nothing impossible for a mom when it comes to helping its kids.Proof is that she moved fast, climbed down, walked and took the little one.All this while knowing any animal couldve hunted both of them.
Amazing ❤
She “moved fast” 😂
I worried about their safety too.
@@pspcraft they get clapped if they are on the ground for too long ☠️
I'm this slow in the morning
Yes, I also was thinking that and Why GOD made Sloths way he did? 2 claws on each foot and can barely walk, etc? They must have a short life span?
Momma probably needed a long snooze after burning all that energy.
"feels like I just ran a marathon, whew!"
LMAO
I like how the baby clung on to the mother. There is nothing like the love of a mother
❤️❤️❤️
The Mama Sloth is doing way over her speed limit, that's a Mother's Love for her baby my friends.
After this rescue mother and baby sloth need a sleep for at least 3 days.
That's probably the fastest she'll ever move and she did it even tho there was a person with a camera in her face lol ... I thought I heard that if this happened mom wouldn't come down for the baby, but I'm glad to know that's not true and she's just like other mommies:)
I like how mom climbed down that little thin vine, and had a strong grip, even with those hands that didn't look to me, to be able to grab onto thin vines. Go MOM !
@@kfl611 ikr.... at the beginning she was hanging by 1 foot on tiny branch thingy lol ... very talented
True. The humans may have been farther away than it looked. Because I have seen shows where mothers abandoned the baby, usually when humans interacted with it.
The amount of anxiety I've felt watching this was sky high. Eventhough I knew that it was going to be fine at the end.
I know!! 😓😓
Ik I've never seen this before so it scared me and I didn't know if the mom was gonna make it or not
Agreed. I wouldn't consider myself anxious but my heart was very fluttery, if that's a word
@@janmay3901 It sure is! I think it must have triggered our maternal instincts 😅
I was anxious also happy for them 😂
Mama sloth was moving so fast. She'll burn out her energy quickly, but anything for her baby. ❤️
She used up all her annual energy for this rescue mission.
Sloths are so intriguing they look slow but can actually move incredibly fast and they are sweet creatures too
You are incorrect, it is physically impossible for sloths to "move incredibly fast". The sloth is the slowest mammal on earth. and on average travels about 41 yards per day. While on the ground, sloths travel at just 1.8-2.4 m (6-8 ft) per min, they’re slightly quicker in the rainforest canopy, where they can reach speeds of 4.6 m (15 ft) per min- around five times slower than a drifting iceberg. Sloths physically don’t have the ability to move very fast as they have an extremely low metabolic rate. Their diet is mainly based on leaves, which grant a low intake of energy, therefore everything that they do has to be constantly geared towards conserving energy. They are also completely colorblind, only able to see poorly in dim light and completely blind in bright daylight. So yes, they are sweet but they can not move fast.
I saw the title and I thought that she's never gonna come down and will probably abandon it like some other animals do but surprisingly she did and it warmed my heart seeing her finding ways to go down the fastest despite her speed🥺The way the baby clunged to her as soon as she came❤️
Sometimes animals abandon them because other animals will hear and eat them both. Which is sad I understand 🥺
sloths hardly ever come down from the trees, cause to do so probably means death which makes this even more incredible! the filmer’s presence probably scared off any that might’ve hurt the wee thing thank goodness!!
Yes she was rushing to get her baby. For a sloth she was moving at blistering speed. She is a good mother.
Oh, how beautiful. The love of a mum for her baby is so strong.
Mamma be FLYING to get to her baby! 😍🥺
Momma sloth moving so fast. Never seen one move that quick ever in all the vids I've seen. We need a sloth emoji 😁
Isn't that so amazing! My God I just think it's so beautiful. !!
@@cinystarr4657 it is. We need a sloth emoji 😁
@@ghostrider369 YES! :D

Oh my goodness, my heart was racing so fast, poor little baby, that's heartbreaking 🥺🥺🥺
Well then...I guess it's safe to say the perverts at Disney who reward dysfunction and deify perversions WON'T be making a movie soon about family.

I've never seen a sloth move that fast. Mothers are amazing.
That was the fastest I've ever seen a sloth move, she was what would be running to most other animals, if a sloth could run or something like that.
Mother’s instinct in full display 👊
So sweet! She was moving fast, to get her baby! Lol I love it!
That was fascinating! I didn't realize they crawl so close to the ground like that...👍
Their muscles aren't strong enough keeping them upright for long, they can only hang extended periods of time because their claws are hooks, from which they hang without having to grasp
I was really surprised too. They obviously can also move fast when necessary but don't have the energy, literally, to move fast under normal circumstances.
I'm intrigued by these creatures and am wondering about their evolution and the reason/s behind their characteristics. Why would they develop to be almost flat to the ground? Why are their muscles so weak? Is it because of their diet and the very long time they take to digest food. Perhaps. But Why?!
@@stephanieyee9784 They're sloths, lol they haven't "evolved" from anything but a sloth.
@@JaneCooper190072 you should look up "giant mountain sloth", youd be surprised. Used to be fearsome
@@derAtze Apparently they are related to the Aardvarks and Armadillos.
You could see she was going as fast as she could. It's probably more like 100mph in sloth's perception.
I have never seen a sloth move that fast.
Oh my! That was such a Moving Mama Sloth Rescue of her Precious little Baby. Thank GOD the Baby Sloth was alive from its' fall.
THAT is the power of LOVE.
Never seen a sloth move so fast!! Lol.
Yeah, Mom is always the best!!
Don't ever tell me animals don't experience emotion like humans do.
For a sloth, that was the equivalent of running. 😂👍
sprinting
I happen to think sloths are among the most bizarre animals around, but this would be perfect to send to all the wonderful mothers I know for Mothers Day!
What's more amazing than her love is she went down to get her baby most sloths that drop babies just leave them because it takes so long too get them and it's too dangerous what a good mom
She probably thought it was safe due to the presence of the person filming who probably scared off any possible threat to the sloths 🤷♀️
*She is moving very fast ... for a sloth. Mother and Child is Nature's greatest gift !!!*
I thought I couldn't love sloths more, until I saw a baby sloth, then Mother and Child sloth reunion!!! 👍😍❤️🙏🌈💞
Adorable! Mama made it to her baby. 👍🦥😍
More proof Mama's will do anything for their child.
Gut wrenching. I hope all sloths live long healthy peaceful life away from predators.
This is how Sloths are sprinting for their babies.
What is amazing to me is how such incredibly vulnerable animals manage to survive in this world today. We absolutely MUST protect what habitats they have left. In the end, if they go, we go.
That was incredible but the footage at the end was from an entirely different sloth (first baby was two-toed, last images was of three-toed sloth)... I hope they all made it back to the tree.
I absolutely love sloths. Yay! Happy ending, baby is back with mama ❤️
Bless her heart one determined Mama. Such joy they were reunited!
Good job, Mama! Amazing to see how 'quick' a sloth can move under an emergency. Glad she and baby were reunited before anything bad happened to either of them.
Mama is a superhero. She always saves the day ❤
Best reunion ever ❤💓💖
A mother’s love and intuition. Beautiful.
That's amazing it's so cute how the sloth quickly climb on its mom 🥺🥺🥺
Such strange animals. It's weird something so slow, still found a way to evolve. Amazing creatures.
Just in time for Mother's Day!! Beautiful!!!
That was moving at lightning fast speed for a sloth!!a mother's love knows no bounds
Sweet reunion... great mama 💖
She was so agile when climbing I'm happy for both of them .
Never seen a sloth moving this fast!
Shout out to the people who filmed this video for not trying to intervene in any way, but just letting the mom rescue the baby on her own!
True lmao
She moved FAST while her baby was crying, AUCH MY HEART
Very touching! Mothers love will do anything ❤️
She is moving fast to get to her precious baby! 🙏❤️
A mama’s love for her baby ❤️
I’ve never seen a sloth move this fast. Motherly love in action. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Momma sloth is so cute like the babie!
He was so happy when she got to him! You could almost see the smile on his face!
oh my goodness, this mama tapped into her inner Olympian gold medalist track star self, sloth style, and beat a fast rescue to her baby. Mommas are amazing like that.
i wish they would have filmed the sloths while standing further away. it seems like having a human that close could have stressed both of the sloths out.
Ikr. Geez,u got zoom in for a reason. That's probably why mumma move extra fast, cause she saw the human up so close. Lol. Human nearly gave mumma bear a heart attack. N I know itsa sloth. I call all mums, mumma bears. Lol.
I've seen sloths before, but never realized they had such a sweet smiles!😊💖
God love her it's so painful for them to walk on land but she saved her baby.
Full Mama bear mode. For a sloth, she moved like lightening. 👍😍
Omg 😱😱😱. I felt so bad for the baby. Good thing they were reunited. This is an amazing video guys
Momma on a mission to gather her baby up, faster for a sloth. Climbing down those vines like Tarzanna. I absolutely love sloths, my spirit animal, lol. ❤️🤗👋🦥
Awe!!Beautiful!Never saw a sloth go upside down a vine like that!!🦥💕
She is moving remarkably fast to get to her baby ! Mother's love !
Mama Sloth was on go for her baby!! ❤
Bless her. She was moving as quickly as I've ever seen a sloth move. Glad the photographer was there to make sure nothing happened to the baby in the meantime. All worked out, thankfully!!
This sweet momma was on a mission♥️... A wonder that they can even survive.. pretty much fair game as they move so slow😔. One of God's sweetest creatures.
That is the fastest I've ever seen a sloth move. Shows you how much of the protect the baby instinct she has.
I hope someone didn't mess with them just to make this video. Hope baby is ok from the fall. I love sloths!
I doubt The Dodo would put this video online without checking the background before.
I get that feeling with many videos on te dodo
It’ll take her the rest of her lifetime to recover from that little journey. I didn’t know sloths could move that fast, but I do know a momma will do everything for her babies. Love this.
Reunited and it feels so good.
Absolutely beautiful. A mom is a mom no matter what.
I would have been so tempted to move that baby closer to her.
Yes but if you TOUCH almost any baby animal in the wild? Often the mother Will Not take it back. We see that every year in Michigan. Folks seeing a baby deer or rabbit. Moving them ,getting to close. Then the mother moves off . Never to return. Always watch from a distance. If after 24 hours,,then n Only then consider rescuing the baby animal. The baby can survive 24 hrs w/o mom.
Never seen a sloth up close. Very unique creatures and beautiful in their own way. Very unique looking.
That's the power of motherly love, makes even the sloth move fast.
Wonder how this baby was separated from its Momma? Glad he or she is safe and with his or her mom again. ❤
It fell
Never seen a baby sloth. Oh my heart is melting.🦥
A mother's work is never done....it's ❤❤👍🏾👍🏾
That's the fastest I've ever seen a sloth move.
What a terrifying situation. So vulnerable on the ground.
This might be the first time she was ever on the ground. What a mom.
Aww I didn’t know they were that cute!
Sloths are so majestic.
That’s mother’s love. I have never seen a sloth move this fast🥰
her little smile when the baby snuggles in
They have such sweet and gentle eyes.

I can her baby crying "mom, mom!".
Mothers love knows no bounds
They've got such sweet faces great video thank you

For a sloth, she's running.
