Avoid the ramp traffic and rocks at the hand launch at lowtide by launching at the kayak rental slip. When u get back, u can use the hose to rinse down all your gear and you wont have to get your legs wet when launching and returning.
Thanks for the tip, Ray! My other kayaks are lower profile, so I am used to getting a little wet hanging my legs over the sides or getting swamped by waves. I also carry a 2-gallon pump sprayer in the car to rinse gear off, since most places do not have washdown stations.
@@rayz671 Ha, that is true, a WDFW fish checker caught me just as I was getting out. I used to only launch and land on the beach, but I get less sand on the wheels coming back via the ramp. Launching does not matter much, since I rinse the wheels off in the water.
What would be nice if you show a pic of your set up of the lure you are using before your video or after🙂, what did you use and what time did you start? Thanks
I will try to remember to mention the gear next time. For trolling I used a Chrome ProChip 8 Fin Flasher with EChip and a Silver Horde Kingfisher Spoon 3.0 UV Glow Lemon Lime Cream. For jigging a 2-1/4oz Candlefish Point Wilson Dart in glow. The jig will catch most anything if you're over the fish.

@ShadRich i prefer not being in the way of the boats. Plus the fish checkers don't bother me wt the kayak rental slip haha

@@ShadRich For the spoon , do you use any scent or only the lure by itself? Thanks
@@NghiaPham-xi5so I usually use some scent on spoons and hoochies. I think I currently have Pro-Cure bloody tuna gel.
