As a day 1 player I've struggled to maintain interest in the game myself so I totally get it and I sense there's probably a little bit of this at play too. "If they wanted to they would". I still see Octo as the best in terms of quality but I would just be disappointing myself if I were to continue seeing him as the go to content creator for ever crisis.
The best costume to have come out for Tifa yet. I wanted to save all of my crystals for Cid, but I caved in watching your video. Why? It's too good. Used only 16k crystals to get it btw. I consider that real luck. I have most of Tifa's elemental weapons ob8-10, it's insane to have 30% more damage or any and each of them. Holy crap. Summons included? She's my new Aerith tbh. Happy I'll be able to keep saving for Cid, unless I pull for the next banner which will be Vincent earth... Which would be great, because I have his release outfit, White Dog OB5 (close to 6) and Chiron OB10. Lots of things to consider, but I do want Cid's release outfit, I know that for sure!

Now you might get a couple extra synth mats you will never use or a different emblem that nobody will see because most people auto accept and spam exit multiplayer battles. Like seriously can we talk about the trash pay to win event rewards in this game lmao! Gacha games are supposed to be about dopamine rushes but it's like who gives a sht about the whale content since the rewards are so dumb. Like I don't even waste my time with the crash events. I can do without the couple hundred crystals and some emblem I won't ever look at.

In regards to this banner, I just spent everything I had. I do feel like the Cloud banner and everything else that came out was a trap to leave everyone drained for this banner and I fell for the Cloud banner lol. I think Cid is coming out so that’s probably gonna be my time to save but aside from that these limited banners (and the constant release of banners) are making me sad as a f2p.
I really feel like Apllibot is really exploiting the Limited Banner. II heard they actually went into the red this past year. While I understand they are trying to make money and they have been generous with the blue crystals, they need to turn their attention to low spender a bit more. While the treasure hunt pass is a good deal, it is about the main one most will spend their money on. They should give random 50% off on Red Crystal days and maybe offer more low cost deals.

This banner definitely bit me. I was planning to go all in (literally all 90k blues if needed) for the UW and got it fairly early. Getting the two weapons to OB6 though...took me 4.5k pages and exactly all of my blue gems. Not a single 5* guaranteed was one of the banner weapons past page 2. Ugh. At least I was already mentally prepared to spend 90k for the UW if needed or it might've have pushed me to quit or take a break lol
Have been waiting to understand what tifas weapon does as I just spent on mag wind cloud… judging from the comments I might need to use up some crystals

I finally spent real money on this game. I had only paid for season pass for the last 10-12 months which doesn't bust the bank too much. The NY shop deals the power jump tempted me so I spent Xmas money. I got OK luck but ultimately feel like spending more than season pass is unnecessary.
Applibot has been especially greedy this holiday season especially with that $160 CAD reskin cloud outfit. I guess losing millions this year they have to suck the players wallets dry before the inevitable "end of service" notice in a couple months.
Hey, Octo, happy New Year to you to! 🎉 My honest opinion: both banners are bait to make us blow crystals before half anni and I am not stoked pulling for either one and seriously contemplating skipping both (except for an Aerith weapon copy). This one looks great on paper imo... Until you realise that only her fire mag is the modern 940% damage weapon with 2.1 conditional. Her wind, ice and water are older, lightning is limited and earth non-existant. And you have no knowledge of what elemental weapon she gets in the future or when. That means that from the start the theoretical potential of this costume is way bigger than what can be achieved in reality, bc the full theoretical potential atm is 940% weapon for all elements on both phys and mag, which is not possible to achieve in any reasonable timeframe even with her banner churn out rate, and her current starting point compared to that theoretical potential is pretty weak. Yes, it will be good for multi element fights. Yes, if you get to OB6, you might get enough potency to outdamage the modern arcanums that come with arcanum plus elemental potency. But I'm betting you'll see the difference between Shell Knuckles and say, Motor Drive even on a supercharged setups. And it's here that I feel we're being short-changed. Because you're dumping quite a few resources to OB6 into smth that will never reach it's true potential even if it outdamages sh*t right now, though I appear to be the only one bothered by this. That said, as one of those that is currently in no position to go further than a page on this, I think I'm better off skipping this and just collecting your regular arcanums over time. And happily saving for half anni 🙂 Oh, and getting a copy of Aerith weapon as it's one of those Kamura look alikes that might come in handy, and possibly not bothering with any of the outfits.
