I collected purple and blue care bears
now i just started wanting to collect them because this is how i found out the name [Bedtime Bear] to my figure that i had laying around for about a year or more.

I had a collection of about 1,000 Care bears, all type of merch...but it all was lost in a move and rain flooding accident...all I have left are 3 or 4 of the original 83 plastic action figures...

As a child of the 80s, I never missed an episode of the show and watched all their movies. I still own a couple of the original Care Bears . But in the original the bears never had a coin ..
I was happy when they did the anniversary of the bears and brought them back thru Hallmark for a limited time. I managed to my surprise to get the 25th anniversary special collector bear which only came in white with Swarovski crystal placed in their nose and one on the heart on the bottom
These figures are so cute! Definitely some of my favorite Care Bears figures so far! 😊 My favorite bears are Love-a-Lot Bear, Share Bear, and Wish Bear, and my favorite coin is Irish Bear's coin, just like Paul. 😁
Grumpy bear is my favorite care bear
These have codes on the bottom (last letters A-J ) that can help avoid doubles. These are so hard to find in my area. I want to find Wish bear, but they are never in stock locally. I love the figures and the coins. I grew up with the Care Bears so it was hard to pass them up.
Got a listing for those letters? I just want 2 specific ones and if I can avoid dupes and ones I don’t want that sounds great.
But Paul's names are so much better! They should be the official names! :-P

My favorite Care Bear is Bedtime Bear. I just recently got the new American Girl doll and her bedtime clothes and accessories are Care Bear themed.

I saw these in the store not long ago and it was just an empty box. I was kind of sad, cause they were super cute. They changed how Tender Heart looks, he used to be more of a darker colored brown and now he is more lighter and his tummy badge is bigger then it used to be.
I miss the old Share Bear where she had a pink sprinkled ice cream soda with two straws.

My two favorites are funshine and cheer bear. If series two is the Care Bear cousins my favorite is tenderheart lion.
The 6 bear specific coins seem to be current bears they made boxed plushies of (plush + coin) Although there is a Bedtime bear exclusive plushie, he has a different generic bears coin and he doesn’t come in a box unlike the other 6 that can be bought from many stores.
